Hello there,
I am new obviously, and my actual name is Chris. I am almost 26 years old and I was brought up as a Southern Baptist. Throughout my life, I have had my ups and downs, but i find myself aalways leaning towards the positive side. I believe god has given me a special ability to counsel and inspire. This is evident through my past experiences with the military and college life. I am new to the forum experience, but I am excited at the fact that I may be at service to whom may need it. I was told once by my Uncle (deceased) that I had to be careful with my words, because anything that I say, do, or how I react to someone's else's actions can have a profound effect on their self esteem and spirit. He was a social worker, and I want to follow in his footsteps. If you find any of my posts interesting to the point where you comment, I will do my best to respond - I have a busy life.

"Be, Know, Do"

Great of you to join the community Chris. There are a few of us that are former military too. You are correct in saying that you must be careful with your words as they sometimes do have a profound effect on those that hear them. Looking forward to your posts. Welcome to CC.

Thank you! Im glad to hear of fellow brothers and sisters are a part of this forum. Mind, Body, and Soul Hooah!

Hi Chris I'm new as well. I think heart of consoulment and inspiration are great gifts from the spirit. I was also raised in a Baptist church. Thank you for your service sir

My friend I am glad you have joined. Like you I am one who desires to encourage and to inspire. Our words and actions can be seen as blade a sword they can be used to cut down to stab to inflict pain to make others bleed but it can be used to encourage to build up to uphold. Always remember that it only takes a spark to make the fire burn:)

Yes he was! :) Thank you. Im new to this, how did you respond with that awesome welcome!!! :D
You're welcome! When you go to reply to any message, there are icons across the top of the text box. They change depending which option you select, but hovering over them with your cursor will tell you what each one does. There is one near the far right hand side that looks like a film strip, for inserting video URLs from youtube, and just to the left of that is the icon for inserting an image. If you click on that, you will get a prompt to select the file you want to add to your message, whether directly from the web as a url image address, or choosing one you have saved on your computer. If you are adding one directly from the web, make sure to click OFF the Retrieve remote file and reference locally :)

I'm not very good at online chat or blogging but im so tired of the negativity on face book. I love everybody on there but sometimes you need to step back and recharge and meditate on Jesus. What better way to do this than with a multitude of my brothers and sisters in Christ.

WoW Alot of good information!!!! Thank you! This seems very flexible and fun :) I really appreciate your responce!
