Who likes who? Crushes? Last time I experienced a crush it crushwed the life right out of me. Now I am relying on God. When the time is right for me to meet that special someone, I know that He will show me the way. I do, however, like the dog thing, as long as the leash isn't to short or to tight.

I'm fairly certain I've never been the target of a crush. I was either the quiet, smart kid (aka NERD) or the class clown in my junior/senior year (aka that loud jerk)... since HS I've filled a lot of roles, but crush has never been one of them... As for a personal crush, they've come and gone. There may be one now, but it is pretty irrelevant, as my brain holds my tongue in check, and my heart has enough trouble reaching out to friends, let alone anything beyond that. I'm going to concentrate on having a real friend for now... that being said: now accepting applications!
 
My crushes don't last long. I find someone who seems to be so down to earth and when the "God and church" thing comes up....they end up saying something that totally turns me off.

Over the years I've had numerous crushes, but I've always been too much a coward to do anything about them. The few times I have dug down real deep and found my inner tough guy I've just gotten burned for my trouble, since none of the girls have been interested in someone with a brain instead of 160lbs of muscle and a stomach that could stop a dump truck.

What is the source of the crush though...Where does it come from? Why does it happen?
 
crushes... a fleeting emotional feeling that just strays ones thoughts from the Lord.
