Don't give up. Maybe he wasn't the right person for you? Concentrate on your spiritual and intellectual development instead of looking for another man. Timing is very important.

Toilet-paper his house.

I'm kidding, that's a terrible idea. DON'T TP his house.

I'm sorry you're hurting right now...I find that ice cream, keeping busy, prayer, and chocolate go a long way towards making me feel better when I've been hurt.

I'm so very sorry that you're hurting right now. I know you don't want to hear this, but perhaps it's God's way of protecting you.
The best thing for you right now is to lean on God and your friends and family. Keep yourself occupied.

And welcome to CC!!

Don't look at it as being dumped.. look at it as newfound freedom and a new beginning.

Just got dumped? Hmmm... Proverbs 3:5-6. Psalm 139. John 3:16.

And, chocolate, a tear-jerker of a movie, and something hot and satisfying to drink. Or, cold and satisfying, if it's hot where you are.

Alternately, if action movies are more your style, something with enough explosions to leave you imagining the 'dumper' inadvertently caught in one. Along with some really spicy snacks, and a good beer (Proverbs 31:6-7). ;)

Welcome to CC, by the way!

...get dumped and dump some cash into a new guitar.

That's what I call getting revenge!

Er, wait, I can't play the guitar.

With such little information, not much.

-Cry. Allow yourself to feel hurt. Sharing with a trusted friend may help.

-Give yourself time to recover. How long it takes will depend on how long the relationship lasted and how close the two of you were.

-Use the experience as you move forward in your search. From your dating experience, you hopefully learned about your needs, what you have to offer, and the needs of a man. As you go forward, you should be able to use what you learned as a tool to filter out incompatible men. You probably can also start working on ways to improve you.
