Hi Mitspa, every born again Christian I spoke to, told me they were voting to leave,
and I know a lot of people. Not one I spoke to had any doubts on the matter they all
felt it was right to leave. This included the very oldest who is 86 and going right down the
age spectrum.
The Christian radio stations in this country during their debates, seemed to also lean towards
a Brexit. It surely has to be the will of God that so many "real" Christians thought leave was
for the best.
Yet the remain politicians were regularly accusing everyone who wanted to leave as racist.
That was ungodly manipulation if ever I saw it. It's interesting that the main financial areas
and rich areas of the country voted to stay. The only thing they were looking at was money.
While the rest of us were looking at family life, quality of life, real life with its many ups and downs.
Its time the UK learnt to trust God as a nation and not the EU.
We need to pray for the country now, that it will turn back to God and that new legislation based
on Godly principles will be written into the laws of the land. This is something which could never
have been achieved if we had stayed in the EU.
Im not suggesting that Britain does not have a massive journey ahead or that the road will be
smooth. It may even get really bad, but it's often during despair that people call on God.
Pray for Godly politicians to be raised up and for God's will to be done.
One thing I have seen since the results were announced is that Germany is now worried
(given its history of trying to dominate the world) that it will be forced to take over the
role of major operator and be in charge of the EU.
They have been pushing for a while, to set up a European army with the base been in
Germany.
It reminded me of this thread.
