I'm hanging out up here in northeastern mt at fort peck lake. The nearest town is Glasgow. We took a trip into town this morning and there was a fairly long train full of military equipment. A few humvees, some troop transport trucks and some older flat nosed trucks. It sort of looked to me like a ragtag bunch of equipment compared to the usual military equipment. There were no tanks or anything but what really peeked my interest was that more than half of the train looked to be supplies, shipping containers and what looked to be bridge building equipment. I have no ideas what it was, where it came from or where it was going but it just looked odd to me.

I forgot to mention that there was no military insignia on any of it.

Could have just been surplus equipment headed for storage/sale/or destruction.

Get a map that shows the routes of railroads, locate where you saw the train, follow the tracks in the direction it was going, notice the towns/cities it will pass, google to see if any of them have a Military Storage Depot.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Matt 13:43

Did you think it was a joke? Why do you think it they are by a lake?

29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
Matt 14:29-31

So the National Guard trains for one month a year? Where did you get that information?

They train 2 days a month for 12 months and 15 days for a total of 39 days a year.

Besides Montana's two day training period is for the month of July is the 23-24th.

So when were you a member of the National Guard?

I was in the guard 89 - 92. Then active duty from 1992 - 2003. Even while on active duty the guard would go to NTC and JRTC for a full month of training with active duty soldiers. So unless something has changed since then.

Well let me change that a bit. The training at NTC and JRTC was two weeks long at location. The guard was there at least a week early and a few days after the training to get equipment on and off the trains or trucks.

The US Army (regular), US Army Reserve and Army National Guard are three separate components.

I was regular army myself, and even though one might ETS they are still members of the Army Reserve until their 8 year obligation expires, albeit inactive Reserves. In my case, following my ETS from the regular Army signed up for active duty in the Reserves which required 2 days a month, and one 15 day period of training per year with a Reserve Unit.

So were you active Guard or regular Army from 92 - 03 cause full time National Guard is not regular Army?

Cause the National Guard only has two weeks training not a month, albeit that National Guard members might be eligible for additional days of ADT, I know as a reservist I did but that was to fill the open slot of an full-time reservist. So the one l month annual training requirement of National Guard isn't correct.

If I gave you the impression that I was interrogating you I apologize, :D that would have been more like do you believe Peter walked on water, do you believe if Jesus was the Son of man, etc....

All I can tell you is what I experienced and this was my experience. When I went to AT I was gone 30 days. When reservists and National Guard came to JRTC they were there over 2 weeks easily. So if the norm is 2 weeks then so be it.

So what you guys are saying is that there was nothing to see here? Doesn't the guard usually have their equipment marked in some way?

On the front of the vehicles you might see some numbers and letters. This wouldn't mean anything to a civilian. You won't see anything that specifically says 25th Infantry Division or anything like that

Recently in a trump rally in cal. The protesters attacked the trumpsters and the cops did nothing.

If Obama can,I believe he will try to direct the military against us.

I have no doubt the blacks and Latinos are being groomed to attack trump supporters, along with the military and police
