I'd be willing to bet there is nothing to be seen other than what you saw. I live near Ft Carson so large amounts of equipment coming and going via train is pretty common.
You have to remember that the equipment that is assigned to a given unit goes where they go. If a unit is relocated to another base, their equipment goes with them.
Just for example, if a couple of units from the 4th Infantry Division (Currently at Ft Carson CO) were to do joint training with the 1st Marine Division (Camp Pendleton CA) at Camp Pendleton, all of their equipment would be loaded onto trains which would run south into New Mexico and then west to CA.
As someone else commented markings on military combat vehicles and equipment are limited regardless of the branch of the military.

Some folks just ain't happy unless there is a full blown conspiracy a-going on 'n' the Gov'mnet is about to throws us all in jail. What you saw was the equipment needed for the pending invasion of Canada. Massive amounts of weapons, equipment, supplies and munitions are being relocated along the US.....Canadian Border even as we speak. Soon, very soon, Obama will give the order and our Military Might will cross the Border laying waste to the Canadian Nation!
