I'm sitting in the library, about 12 feet from a guy who's munching on chips while on his laptop... and just pulled a can of Axe out of his backpack and sprayed his armpits. I'm trying so hard not to laugh/stare in horror... or overtly hold my nose.

LOL No joke... All was peaceful in the library, until I heard that insidious aerosol hiss...

The worst part is, he is literally sitting directly in front of the air conditioner vent. My oxygen supply is compromised.

Honestly, that must be demoralizing. You never think it will happen to you. :p

People talk about nose-blindness from constant exposure to a bad scent as a negative thing, but really I think God just included that as part of our natural survival gear.

why does it have to be so hot in texas????
How hot is it there? Its 92 here and I just drove through traffic with the AC off because I'm trying to reset my car's computer so it will finally pass smog check.

(the traffic was because of an accident, had nothing to do with resetting the computer.. I was supposed to be flying along at 60mph.... instead it was like a mobile sauna :()

Yeah but those febreeze (tm) commercials about "he's gone noseblind" are genius. Make you worried about smells you can't even smell, but you think visitors might smell them.

Orientation went well, the lady who was orientating the group got easier to talk to as the day went on.
And got my equipment for Monday, also free pizza, definitely doing it healthy for the rest of the night.

Going to go out and get a movie possibly to watch after I get done working out and getting my nightly massage (I get one every night I go), haven't decided if I want to do that at the gym or at home yet.

Is this normal? When I read I'll sometimes switch the words...and it happens often.
For example "Streams of Consciousness and Thoughts"
I'll read it as "Thoughts and streams of consciousness"

Weird huh? Makes reading comprehension kinda bad sometimes lol.

That happens to me sometimes too. It usually happens if I'm tired or been skimming too much through stuff I was reading.

i agree, the commercials are really clever, and remind me a little of the whole childhood "monster under the bed" fears. it's not about whether it's a rational fear, but the threat of what cannot be seen or perceived.

i know a couple people whose paranoia was probably rattled a little by such a commercial. : ) but then again, i have always found cat people to be a little off. ; p

So many questions. Why is he eating chips in the library? Also, why is he spraying deodorant in the library? That's two violations in one hit.

I just talked to Harold Cronk. On the phone. Director of "God's Not Dead."

What did YOU do today?
