I did not use the term for another poster here. It is one thing to use it to illustrate political figures (note that it was made by that link, not by me), quite another to direct it to someone here. BTW, both Obama and I have both been referred to by that term.

Trust me when I say this brother, I can fully understand why you dislike Trump. There are things I like about him, and then there is the biggest list that I don't like about him...

Nevertheless, I think it's really inappropriate to compare Trump to Hitler. We do a disservice to the remaining survivors of concentration camp victims and to history to downplay how evil Hitler was. We could agree Trump is not the best nominee the Republicans could have picked, but I think even in your heart of hearts you know he is not a fraction of the corrupt man that Hitler was.

I've spoken to about 10-15 Jewish survivors. I asked them questions about modern day politics (this was back when Bush was president). There is not a doubt in my mind that they would think Trump is child's play to Hitler.

Mussolini was Hitler's # 1 partner in crime as both conspired to kill Jews (as I have mentioned previously, my ancestry is Jewish). As you can see from the quote, Trump has been likened to fascists by American conservatives ​like Cuccinelli and others.[/FONT]

Honestly as far as this topic goes I think the office is bought and paid for anyway, and this whole "election thing" is no more than a charade to distract us and keep us at each others throats instead of focusing on the real problems, but hey I don't claim to have any other answers other than Jesus on how to "fix it", and we all know what the world thinks about that. That aside I just really like the way you are and find myself agreeing with you more often than not. I hope you have a great day and weekend.

I believe you just may be very close to correct. I have never felt that our votes really mattered as much as we think they do.

I honestly do think that no matter who gets elected the policy will be the same, an example is if it wasn't Obama care it would have been Romney care, but that is just admittedly the way I personally see it, and again it's not like I have the answer on how to fix it or anything, aside from the 1 that could actually work, that being Jesus. I also don't use that as an excuse to not vote or pay attention, but I may honestly just write in Jesus and vote for Him this time.
