If a person is preaching the whole truth in the gospel message by the Spirit of Christ, they will be hated by those who are still of the world, just as Jesus said.

John 7:7
The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

John 15:18
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

John 15:19
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
We who embrace God's grace hate God? Boy you do sound like the devil twisting God's words. Try again. The world awaits.

I agree, but many people try to build false doctrine by trying to misrepresent select verses of scripture, while totally ignoring or omitting others which will prove their misrepresentation of scripture as false. That is why it is important to know every word of God on a subject before being misled by others false interpretations and misguided conclusions.
Right. So please stop doing that.

Try again. I didn't accuse anyone of being my enemy other than The Enemy. You must have a guilty conscience.
No, I use a lot of scriptures myself. If your enemy uses a lot of scripture, maybe you're on the wrong side, 'cause you don't.

Can you feel the luv from the Hyper gracers? LOL! :)
Not towards you no, but you arent against grace, that is sort of something that is spoken against you in the sense of saying WE gracers versus you (which seeks to make it appear you despise the grace of God) or something, that is untrue.

best if folks just speak to the words spoken rather than vomit on each other inside the threads.

Would do everyone a favor to show whatever evil is there, I mean even Jesus said,

John 18:23 Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?

also another angle of what you are saying

luke 6:26 "Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you, for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets.
"

just reading the ot last night. after a time people don't want Gods real word anymore, the push for human doctrine, human will. so when false prophets come up with distortions of Gods word like " no condition or God expects nothing from you in return " they are widely accepted in a world that simply Loves sin and self, wants to be their own Lord rather than obeying the Only Lord. rebels hate obedience, after awhile they have to make changes to suit themselves and make it more world friendly. and they are embraced by the masses. but God always has people like in days of old that are speaking truth, like you show clearly here, they will be rejected and it is a blessing for them, it shares in the rejection of Jesus because it is His name and word that makes the world Hate the person. if they were saying " live as you please, God Loves you, no need to obey anymopre" the world would flood to that message. but Jesus words....." will the son of man find faith when He returns?"

That's quite a litany of charges you just leveled against the Apostle Paul. I'll gladly take my place alongside Paul as another who testifies of the gospel of grace....

"But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God." Acts 20:24

the apostle paul didn't teach what the "gog" teaches is the flaw with that thinking. he taught the same things Jesus taught. and revealed the atonement. he never taught unconditional salvation, never taught to omit Jesus. that's a terrible deception.

John 3:16. Luke 12:32. Romans 8:38-39.

That's the trifecta. Argue against that.

Try again. We who embrace God's grace do not promote living sinful, decedent lives like most self righteous Pharisees claim we do. Funny how that works.

followjesus,

I do agree with some of what you state here and I want you to know that.

Sadly, there are some contemporary teachers that do not teach grace in a responsible biblical way, there are many teachers/preachers who may eventually do great harm because they teach by omission or they stress some parts with little catch phrases and do not teach on other parts. Some scriptures are reinterpreted to fit the new paradigm of grace.

There is a general lack of discernment among Christians today, maybe it has always been this way, I am not sure, I stay away from Churchianity as I may have to stay away form this message board soon.

The thing that is worrisome is if a grace teacher (who may indeed be a wolf among the sheep) and has a huge following becomes embroiled in a scandal as we have seen so many times in the past, it does great harm to our witness and testimony.

Not all grace teachers omit and twist.

If you have any interest I think this is a very balanced place to visit, not endorsing it, but it is one place that is definitely straightforward and simple.

very well stated thank you for the link. and you are absolutely correct not all grace teachers are teaching a gospel that omits. the issue for me is this. a new Christian hears " all grace, Gods good, you don't HAVE to obey, just believe you are new and sinless already, confess that you believe and you are in. " that if anyone confesses with thy mouth and believes in thy heart that Jesus is LORD, they will be saved." the title Lord means what it means. Grace is shown in Jesus he died for us for no reason but that he Loved us, we couoldnt earn it. God favored mankind, so he sent Jesus to die and rise again to redeem us from sin. Goids character never changes

he freed the slaves in Egypt to make himself a holy people. just because he Loved man.

Jesus freed the slaves to sin and death, to make for himself a holy people, just because He Loved man.

in the desert man was disobedient and always grumbling so God sent vipers to kill many, moses pleaded God had him make a bronze snake and all who looked at it, lived even though the vipers bit them because of Gods mercy on them, because they repented and asked moses.

in the world, we have the crucifixion to look upon as the bronze snake when we are bitten by the deadly viper of sin, the cross is our forgiveness and mercy. because we repent and ask God in Jesus name

the old is like this throughout, you see all of the new lived out in the spiritual realm God does not change His ways. His commands are Life, transgression is death. if we put our hearts into God, He will accept our shortcomings, and purify us as we follow. he must be Lord if He is Savior
