Nah, they just aren't as loud and pray more. Typically they post a few words of wisdom and then you won't see them post much in this forum but evident in the other forums...prayer, women, family.
I could make a list of folks I really respect but it would take a while.

I only look at others fruit if they try and teach me or lecture me or they give me a good reason to...like they want to keep my life for me or something.

Another aspect that goes with "fruit inspectors" is just what is fruit? And what does this fruit look like. What if as an analogy a Christian is like an orange tree?
An orange tree is still an orange tree even though it doesn't produce the fruit we want to see in the timeframe we think it should. What happens if this orange tree dies before it has had a chance to be fed properly to grow up to be able to produce the fruit of a ripe orange?
To some works-based people - you would have to display 50 oranges in order to prove you are a real orange tree ( saved ) - to others you need 100 oranges in order to be a proved orange tree. ( saved ) So, this fruit inspection thing is not viable ..that's for God to look at people to determine if they are in Christ or not.
A person could have love and kindness as a fruit in their life but be addicted to some pills or alcohol which they are continuing to struggle with in their life.
The people that don't have a struggle with alcohol ( or basically anything that they themselves don't struggle with in their flesh that others do ) will condemn the ones that do have these struggles in the flesh and declare they don't have the fruit and thus are not saved. This is Pharisee-ism at it's finest.
Does the orange tree stop being an orange tree even though it dies without having fruit that we think "proves" it was an orange tree to begin with?
What if Christians were like that? What if we fed them messages about the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness in Christ so that they could grow? Then they would produce an abundance of fruit.
I say let's preach and teach the grace of Christ in their lives so that they have the proper nutrients to grow up in Him!

the holy spirit will be teaching the same thing as Jesus. " He will remind you of everything I have said to you" if the spirit is not agreeing with what Jesus says is true and right, it is not the Holy spirit. that's why we have the written word. to say" just love" is a summary. to Love is to forgive, be merciful, give to those who need, honor the Lords Word, it is to not lust after another mans wife, it is to not secretly covet His things, Love is taught perfectly by Jesus. perfect Love is to Lay down your own self for others. Love is to feed your enemy, pray for those who insult you ect. all of the principles Jesus taught. without following Hois word, humans cant Love the spirit is never separate from the word it is the Living word, and will always be in agreement with the written word. right doctrine is essential because what you learn and believe is faith.

I don't define faith as what I learn and believe...I define faith as trust in God.
Some people have faith in what they have learned and believe and don't trust God at all. In fact they think He doesn't exist.

I agree 98%. It's the other 2% that has me turning over tables when dealing with modern day Pharisees who attempt to shut out the Kingdom of Heaven against others. It makes me crazy.

you are either on some kind of mood altering drugs or just plain dumb and totally not in touch with
God's Reality...
these brothers and sisters are sharing their hearts, but I ask of you, do you know what a heart is?
Personally, I believe the anonymity of an online chat board allows people to say (post) words they never would say (post) if they were discussing issues face to face.
Also, at times I do not believe the written words are understood in light of the meaning the person who posts them actually meant. We are missing the visual cue of facial expression, body language, etc., and the auditory cue of whether words are spoken in anger, shock, sarcasm, love, etc. What might be understood in a couple of spoken words could take several posts (or pages of posts) to get the point across or glean the meaning.
Here are some verses we could all keep in mind before we hit the submit button:
Psalm 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
Ephesians 4:29-32 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
I think we all have something to share with others here and we could also learn from others here. God tells us in 1 Cor 12 that He has placed every member in the body as it has pleased Him and no one can say that a member of the body is unnecessary. There should be no schism in the body and we should all have the same care one for another. We are all members in particular. Such an awesome picture is drawn from theses verses if we'd ever get it through our skulls.
