But the problem JaumeJ is you have NOT defined exactly what is blasphemy.

You have left it so open to interpretation that anything anyone says could be blasphemy in your opinion, and that's all it is is your opinion.

Given that there is nowhere in Scripture (that I am aware of........if there is please post said Scripture(s) ) where God commands us to "go forth and prove to the world that I am real. "
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 1 Thess 5:21

which is why I wrote this...for which I was branded a heretic...or is that a hare tick? well anyway....

with all respect, really I mean that

it's like you have emptied a sewer on the kitchen floor and now disown doing so

don't blame others for asking the obvious question whether or not you think it is obvious

seriously, don't start a thread like this unless you want to own it

go figure

Ewwwwwww... gross story. And yet there but by the grace of God go I! My past without Jesus is nothing to be proud of either. None of us have anything to boast about of ourselves.

I totally get what Gandhi was saying, though. Remember how robbers, harlots, fortune tellers, dishonest tax collectors, and the like thronged around Jesus, ate meals with him, followed him all over the place asking questions about how to enter the kingdom of God. They knew Jesus could offer them light and life.

Too many religious fanatics today like to spout the Bible, put down sinners, preach about obedience, point folks' weaknesses out and bang them over the head with lots of scripture. But how many Christians do you know who have robbers, dishonest politicians, prostitutes, drunks, occultists, etc. following them around wanting to know how to enter the kingdom of God?

Actually, I kept following this poor blind girl in my neighborhood around like that years back for the same reason. I knew she knew the Lord. That's how I came to Jesus, through her.
I have heard you tell that story, and I very much love to hear such testimonies, of how people were called and how they came to God. I was very stubbornly set against God, running from Him for years in defiance, disobedience, and rebellion, believing myself to be open minded while throwing off the shackles of antiquity and tradition. Hence my calling and conviction happened over a period of many years, while God patiently worked on me and sin gradually eroded and broke me. How great is our God!

TY Mengnta,

you are an amazing servant of God!

It could mean that even though you have said this about him:

Quote:

" this is exactly how we feel about you, you are an imposter who serves the dark one...."

Unquote:

...it could be that FreeNChrist still loves you even when you say disparaging things about him like the quote above over 1 John 2:19?

All he did was quote this scripture concerning those that were not Christians that John said left them in 1 John - I am assuming that goes against what you believe.

Here is the post below if you want to reconsider what happened. I would not consider this exactly Christian behavior but maybe others do? This goes with the OP about what is being posted in the BDF.

perhaps this is freeinchrist's opportunity to learn how to forgive and honor others even when
they are at odds, for Christ's True Love will take you to places that you would never believe -
in order to mold and shape us into His Holy image...

Amen...we can all learn to do this very thing as we depend on Christ's life in us to be manifested to others.

JaumeJ, But then again that is censorship.

Even those who speak against God has the right to do so. But then again its your opinion and only your opinion if these people have really spoken against God or are just questioning things God has said.

But then Jaumej you have read into the questions that which was not there.

Many of these questions i ask are from my many years of witnessing to the Cults. And the Cults do ask some very hard questions!

Are you prepared to give an answer as to why you believe what you believe? Many people in the cults will eat you alive. They come very well prepared to do battle with you!

Its easy witnessing to non believers who have no god. But its very challenging to bring the Gospel to the Cults.

I so not know if this will count with someone so vastly experienced as yourself, or so wise, but long before you were born I was sharing the Word in may countries and at home in many states. I count all this , my vast knowledge and experience, as not a whole lot when it comes to understandig all of the Word, but I am permitted to share this with you:

When I ask people to refrain from blaspheming, it is correct, and it is of the Holy Spirit. As for being right, this is from God not from man.

So, you understand, I know I do not know all there is to know about everything, but what is requested in my OP is correct. I read teh Word daily as best I am given to be able, but perfection does nto come for anyone before God finishes the work He, Himself began in each ne He has called.

Boast of your deeds if you will, my only boeast is Jesus Christ Who does all for any and all wh are saved.

Ok thats nice and all but could you at least give us one example of a blaspemous thread here? As far as i can tell from this post it is a thread started by paulmack. But if it is then what is blasphemous about it? Is it the fact that he actually posted something that should make you think about what and why you believe? I dont see anything blasphemous about that. So now that it seems that you have a problem witb one of his threads....which one?

Now it seems you just want to stir things. Anyone, afdter all that has been posted for thoe ignorant sknows what, who, when and where just by reading titles. I am not here to pander to obviously leading questions by lawyers.

Why do you not show grace and mercy when applying your own standards? Jesus does. You will not receive any accusations from me except that the one condemened from the beginning and his followers will find eternal justice in their plight.

Judge not lest you be judged for with the judgmen you mete out so shall you be judged..

I am not judging you. I am just asking for an example. You are the one who is stiring thing up as you make accusations yet refuse to give an example of your accusations.

Step up or step out.

Any title with anything that is against God is blasphemy. You have not been reading what is posted. You still want to put a named individual on trial.......or is it I you wish to try? Either way, you already havi your position and response ready no matter what is said, not that you make iny sense.

Stop looking for witches to burn............

Who chose you to be judge and jury on what people can and cannot post JaumeJ? If you really do not like what some have posted, then you really need to rethink as to why you are on this site! WE are not to Judge others. But you have already Judged our Brother paulmack for blasphemy!

Who made you God????

As far as i can see in the questions posted by paulmack i really do not see any blasphemy. All i see is someone asking questions about certain doctrines.

Could it be because you feel you need to be in charge. Approving or disapproving what questions people can or cannot post?

Actually what is really the problem, is you hate all those who do not hold to the same views that you hold to. Its those who believe differently then you that you say are blaspheming the Scriptures.

Grow up JaumeJ! People are entitled to their opinions, even if you do not like what they say.

If i were to ask "can you prove Jesus rose from the dead"? Is that blasphemous? How about "can you prove God is the creator of everything"? Is that blashemous? What you may see as blasphemous are mearly questions intended to make you think about why you believe what you believe. These are standard questions in appologetics. We are told to be able to give an answer as to why we have faith. (Php 1:16, 1:27, 1 Peter 3:15-17 Jude 3). These "threads" that you see as blasphemous are really intended to make us question what we believe and why we believe so that we are prepared to give an answer for our faith. I do not believe they were posted in a blasphemous way. I believe they were posted this way to help each of us come to a better understanding as to why and what we believe. There have been quite a few Christian appologists that have become Christians because they asked these questions of themselves and God revealed Himself to them through these questions. I have found in my own studies that by trying to "prove" myself wrong on a certain theological subject, that i believe, that God has shown my understanding to be correct. He has also shown me in a few cases where i was wrong in my understanding thus showing me truth.

Look up the words respecfully and request, put them togerher.......then do not judge another when you have not understood what has been posted. I respectully request you DO this..... May God alleviate your disdain replacing it with sound judgment and love.. It is certain you are far grown up, so this should not rattle your thinking.
