I notice the computer in use is a mac. This could be part of the problem. Or rather, it could indicate the cause of the problem. :p

I had a friend meet his wife on the internet. The biggest issue is how honest the other person is. Anytime I tried it never worked out. Even had one send me pictures and they were of her kids teacher lol. This was a long time ago though.

So far I've only met one gal in person with whom I had connected through online dating. She was 'for real'. I have heard horror stories though. I suppose there are trolls on dating sites, and have probably even seen some. However, I'm cautious. For some reason, asking about a person's faith usually exposes them.

I have to admit I have tried a little internet romance ..and I think the thing where you do a live cam with a person kinda takes away the whole fake person thing ...if somebody could not or would not cam...there might be a issue I think.

Internet dating is so much easier ..you don't have to get all fixed up ..you can date in your underwear hehe

In my extremely limited experience, the folks that are selling themselves like used furniture on the Internet are doing so because they lack the social skills to meet people the old fashioned way. The Internet is the last bus stop on a dirt road to lifelong loneliness. Only thing worse is posting personal ads on Craigslist looking for one night stands.

On the other hand, I love to read through people's dating profiles and decipher what they mean versus what they say. It's endless entertainment.

Wow you really know how to make people feel good... I used to kinda have a attitude that internet dating was for losers ...but its not ... some of the most beautiful and attractive people in the world meet that way.

I'd need to see a vid, a pic doing some kind of pose I ask them to do, and about 900 references to make sure "she" isn't the man over 50 a few other threads are looking for lol.

Wow Bruce has got the Duck Dynasty thing going...I like it ... wonder how girls see the whole facial hair thing...maybe for some guys its works and other guys it don't?
