I totally agree with you. With the exception of uneatable pests, we eat all the animals we shoot.
I am told that the meat from the wild hogs is leaner, more healthier, and far more tasty than hogs raised for slaughter. Dunno personally, but that is what I am told.
As for deer, some of those killed to thin the heard are diseased, and not worth eating.....in that case, I can understand disposing of them in some way. But don't leave them to rot and decay in the woods/where ever.
