Peacenik, let's stop for a moment and consider how liberals and conservatives are defined in modern America. And I'll let you define liberal, because I'm really curious what you think the values of the Democratic party are.
Conservative:
1. Professes to believe in decentralized government except when moral issues are in question. For example, murder should not just be a state issue.
2. Pro-life. That means no donations to or public funding of the liberal Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger being the founder thereof. So you're conservative there, my friend.
3. Most believe in the Bible, but I'm not naive enough to say all conservatives are Christian. There are some atheist pro-lifers too.
4. For heterosexual (not homosexual) marriage. You're probably conservative there too, which means the morality you attempt to follow (whether you're able to or not) is not one that, contrary to your claim of the conservative ideology, would ever endorse gay porn or porn of any kind.
5. Believe in shaping policy to fit biblical morality, because that's what a democratic vote is about. Everyone has a say in how they want to shape their country. Liberal individuals (e.g. feminists, socialists, communists, pro-choicers, LGBTQ, most atheists, New Age, Occult, Wiccans, most Blacks, most Mexicans, Reform Jews, most Europeans, etc.) already have a vote to cast, the outcome of which often opposes the morals I believe in. Therefore I have every right to fight for my own ideal for society by casting my vote in favor of my biblical view.
6. Anti-slavery.

8. Against most infringements of our(and your) right to bear arms. The Bible prohibits neither sword nor gun nor bow. If you differ with me on this, then it's a difference of interpretation of the Bible and will have to be left at that.
9. Supports Israel's right to be a state. I took a semester at a secular college on the history of Israel, and I assure you the Palestinians are not getting the short end of the bargain. The Jews are. And there is plenty of secular reason for the Jewish state to exist that has nothing to do with a particular eschatological view.
Bush was, in my opinion, a bad president. It doesn't matter what affiliation he was. He attempted to bring democracy to Iraq and cheap oil to America. He deceived us and failed. And Hillary was right there, supporting him. Guess what party we'd be blaming Bush's mistakes on if Hillary were president at that time? Obama came along and destabilized the region further. Oh, well.
I'm sure there's more to be said, but I'll let you fill in the rest with, I hope, your description of what it means to be liberal. In spite of our political differences, you are my brother. And I hope God blesses us both with the candidate he believes we should have.

- their professed disgust with porn when it has been well established that they are the biggest users of it
- their claims of being pro life when Republicans were the biggest financiers of Margaret Sanger
- their claim to worship the Prince of Peace while being the biggest promoters of war
- their claim to want limited government while applauding government intrusion into the lives of minorities and their endless apologias for police crimes against innocent blacks (remember Wilding as an example?)
- their support of the world's first communist created state in Israel
More examples can easily be posted.
By the way, most liberals I have known also are Christian and believe in the Bible. They claim to worship the Prince of Peace and work to end wars. Having grown up in New York, I was well acquainted with many Jewish liberals and they work harder than anyone else to promote peace and brethrenship. But as I wrote above, let a liberal define what it means to be one.

The Republican party is not the "party of the rich". I think liberals don't understand this because they get hung up on why Republicans give tax breaks to companies. The companies are the life blood of our economy. If we had competitive tax breaks for companies, then not only would American companies return to America, but foreign companies would rebase here too.
That means more jobs for the jobless. But in practice so far that has not been the case, because politicians haven't figured out how to do it effectively yet. So CEOs get big tax breaks and more money, and only a few extra jobs get created. The Dems then decry the Republicans as being for the rich in spite of the fact there are poor Republicans too.
So what do the Dems do? They raise minimum wage, because they are, of course, the party for "the downtrodden little guy," right? This helps a few people reach middle class or upper poverty levels and forces more people out of jobs to become even more poor. They also force companies to provide health insurance for the sake of their impoverished employees. This forces some companies out of business, and fewer people have jobs and end up even more poor. But then they say, "I've got it now! I'll pay government employees more money to help them pay for the price of housing on military bases. This will surely help the little man!" Then the landlords raise the cost of rent in anticipation of this legislation and suck up all of the extra money. So the government just gave the landlords free money and the government employees are in the same boat.
Where am I going with all of this? The Republican party, regardless of their members, is not to be hated. Corruption is found everywhere. You don't tell someone to hate Christianity because of the actions of Christians. What's more, some of the fundamental objections the liberal Christians have with conservatives don't stick. Republicans aren't looking to increase the wealth of the wealthy. They're hoping their wealth goes into hiring more people and improving the lives of those living in poverty. So my message to libs is: get off your high horse and grow up. Because you have no moral high ground here. The Republicans are doing the same thing your party is. They're just better at it.
From what I've read of Donald Trump's proposals, I feel he has a chance of bringing jobs home. I've read the opposition too, and have refuted some of their claims and have not found enough evidence for the others.

I actually dont totally disagree with everything you said here, as I agree that giving yourself over entirely to the republican party is not the Godly thing to do at all. But this statement, where good people vote democrat, I dunno about all that. They would be voting for a group of people who are strongly pushing for things we know are evil. To claim that someone is a good person for voting democrat is not right, and saying that they are good people who vote democrat would make question just how good they are.
Of course, I am not strongly for either side, but Im not gonna let my negative outlook on one side sway me to become devout to the other : p I may not feel all that strongly about republicans, but I certainly do not have a good opinion on the democratic party. Instead of arguing about which party is better, Id rather just stick to God's word.

And why are they overseas? Because the Dems want to keep raising the taxes on them. Tax the wealthy and tax big business. Distribute the money to the poor. That's their motto. A robin hood scheme to be sure, but an utter failure if American companies choose to not be American and escape American taxes.
