My wife and i recently separated a week ago due to her continued adultry and life of sin. She is very lost and needs Jesus in her life badly. She and I have been together for 28 years and i have been praying for her but it seems like she is getting worse. I feel like a failure because i have lost what is so precious to me. I've been living with this for almost ten years now. Please pray for my marriage and my wife Dodi's salvation please.
Nick......

The post you wrote is tragic. Perhaps it is a good thing that you have recently been separated from a cheating spouse. I have said a prayer for your wife and for you also. I pray also that God provides clarity for you in how to proceed and move forward in your life. Let God's will be done in the matter of your marriage. You are certainly not a failure and in no way responsible for your the infidelity of your wife and for how she chose to live her life outside of God's presence.

Thank you, your kind and encouraging words are a blessing. I do need peace i feel like my heart has been ripped out. Thank you again..

Im right there with you brother.
I know how real that ripping that you have is feeling.
It almost killed me.

All the years we spent trying to forgive and forgive and hope
soon it will be better.

Please brother. Hold on to Jesus now and know whos been cheated.

Be strong in Jesus. Let her go. It probably wont stop and the evil it brings into your heart is fatal.

You and I and others can pray for her anyway.

Just not focus on her.

It seems christian but its not. Thats at least my understanding of the little information I processed.

I just feel the pain.

I promise It will be better.

Use what you have to listen to special topics of the bible you are interessted in.

There are millions that love you. Remember that. We just havent met them yet.

Lord bless Dodi, and Nick. Let them forgive and love one another. Lord bless this marriage. In Jesus name, Amen!

Naturally all of this excludes you being abusive, neglectful, you cheating first, etc.. which if that's the case then you Are at least partially to blame. But if you have generally been a good husband with no serious mistreatment of her, then the next part will hopefully help a little.

While not quite the same as a 28 year marriage, i think the general principles in what i'm about to say will apply. My last girlfriend, who i had hoped to propose to, well, i was really in love with her. I did my best to be as good for her as i was able. She talked about wanting to get married too. But in the end, she ended things. I spent 6 months trying to win her back. At first she refused, then she spent a few months on the fence about it. Now it seems to anger her deeply. All i did was try to love her.
Or many years ago i befriended a woman. She was in her 50s, married to a baptist minister and they had multiple kids together. Out of nowhere she began cheating on him. A lot. With all kinds of men, just flings, not even relationships. Her husband didn't mistreat her. They had a decent house, great kids. She was happy until one day something inside her just snapped and she went wild. Couldn't even explain it herself.
Sometimes people just change out of nowhere. I don't know if it's fear, or boredom or something else. But there are two more cases where people, all women, i just realized, suddenly did a 180 on men who were good to them. So it's not you being a failure. It's just the way life goes sometimes.

The peace is "God is with me." Not to be confused with it won't hurt like crazy.

Praying for you and your wife. God bless you and your family

It's true that i have not been a perfect husband i have some regrets, but i never abused her. If i was perfect i would be Jesus but im not. About 10 years ago she decided she dud not want to be married anymore and that was with the first affair. One affair after another i managed to over look the pain and forgive. Hoping that she will finally see and love yhe lord. I finally decided to stop allowing her to take advantage of my kindness. But it still hurts bad because I still love her.

God doesn't create failures. :) Your wife needs therapy and counseling. It's good that you're separated for now.

It always hurts when I see others breaking up, sometimes outsiders don't know the full story. but for you , you will know truelly why this has happened. God will reveal things to you and open your mind, I ask Jesus to keep you from anxiety and give you wisdom about your circumstances. Amen
