I am a recovered addict but snow was never my d.o.c. (drug of choice) haha so I don't know. Zappa said not to eat the yellow stuff. That's all I know :D Speaking of addiction and musicians, you know, a few years ago when Steve Tyler was a judge on American Idol, I was incredibly impressed with how dignified he was. Sometimes he was the only one not trying to hide his giggles when the auditioner was really bad; he just sat listening all stoic and being honest about what he heard without laughing at the person or insulting them in any way. Even the bad boys of rock can recover :) I wonder if he has a religious affiliation? I am a huge fan of the Moody Blues and I read something a while back about how at least one and possibly two of the members were Christian, a fact I had not know but had wondered about. I was glad to hear it :D
My cousin is going on a Moody Blue Cruise next winter. Other acts on the cruise too. (The only one I related to, besides MB, was Riders of the Purple Sage.) If you're interested, might want to google it. Who knows? Maybe you can ask them yourself.

Losing It
didn't even have to google it. Man, that is a brilliant song. Love the electric violin solo. I have to go listen to it now.

Do you like 1970s-90s rock? OR do you not agree with it? Share your thoughts!
70's thru 90's rock ROCKS!! Those are my favorite genres of music ...and muzak  You have great taste in music, Huglife!

And I like Bon Jovi too! :D I lived in New Jersey when he was real popular and it seemed like every other person claimed to know someone who knew him or saw him somewhere.. (I just wished I could sing like him :p) Do you know the song "Never Say Goodbye"? I'm like the only one who loves that song..

Do you know a band named Cinderella? They were big when Bon Jovi was popular. They're an old school metal hair band. I think they opened for Bon Jovi on one of their big tours... anyway my friends and I were eating at Dennys one night and the lead singer and bass player from Cinderella walked in. It was like 1am on a saturday night. They ordered a lot of stuff because the waiter kept coming back out to put more food on their table. We thought that was pretty cool hehe.

Yes, there are still radios. I know this because my brother listens to Rush Limbaugh every morning.
How sad for him.... Rush Limbaugh is a bigoted loudmouth idiot.... anyway 1980s was a very good ERA for music... a lot of good thrash metal came from that era

I have resisted so long ignoring you Because I felt that although you were ignorant on so many issues you loved the Lord, but this post is full of vile hatred, and pure name calling, against someone who is not even here to defend himself.
EVEN IF what you say is true, how does a professing Christian say it?

I really like the song "Coming Home" by Cinderella. I was singing that song all the way home on the plane when I left Hawaii and was heading for home after I got out of the Military in 1988. :)

I was gonna say something as well.....that I identify with a lot of what Rush says and in essence dude was calling me the same things he called Rush.....which none of is true btw. It just shows how utterly stupid people can be and why they burn down neighborhoods.

Hmm.
Although I have some bands I listen much to, I tend to be more of a song person than a band person.
I often like maybe 1-3 songs of a band really well and think the rest are "ok" :p

I came to think of my Last.fm account which I haven't used for years and years.... had to check it.... weird to see that my most played tracks are by a band I haven't listened to at all for years :p
