Heya Zero.

Why not shop online at Walmart?

Anything over $50 is free delivery and you don't have to spend time around stupids.
Thanks Addison, but I only use amazon for online stuff - they've never let me down and I once had to return a bunch of stuff to them because I couldn't use it and it was so easy I couldn't believe it. The stuff I get at walmart is like groceries and little things I need right away like donuts lol.

The site won't let me load videos for some reason, but if you can find a SNL skit with John Belushi, 'Little Chocolate Donuts, Breakfast of Champions', very funny and timely in the light of the Olympics winding down. (which were pretty good, imho)

Yes, Little Chocolate Donuts!!!

On two occasions amazon has taken my money on a purchase, but the company I made the purchase from claimed to have never gotten a notification for my purchase and never shipped what I paid for. I still use amazon, but Ive certainly had problems on the site before : /

No joke! Once I picked up a cup of donut holes at walmart. I bought them on the basis of, "At that price, why not?" The next day I stopped at a local (really good) donut shop, told them what I did the night before and said, "I need some real donuts quick, to restore my faith in humanity."

That's strange. I actually had a package not show up after 2 weeks and I contacted amazon and they refunded me right away... then someone shows up at my door a few days later with my package. He said it was in his mailbox and he left it there so the mailman would take it back but he never did so the guy drove it over to me (!!)

I notified the USPS and they said they would investigate. So I actually got my package for free! :D It was just a 4-port USB hub, nothing to write home about..

Walmart has this really cool price matcher tool on their app. You scan your Walmart receipt and it checks prices of other store's in the area. If Walmarts price is higher it will refund the difference and you can have it applied to a Walmart card or one of those pre paid credit cards. We earned so much this year that we were able to use to pay for my sons new bike.

I also have saved a lot of money at K' Mart on the price match guarantee products. One year I put things in layaway for Christmas and when I picked up the layaway I got 70 dollars back, that was awesome. Also Toys or Babies R Us has a rewards program . Last time we were there I had twenty dollars built up and was able to use that towards my purchase.

I've got supper prepared, so all I need to do is put it in the oven. Laundry is going. House has been picked up, vacuumed, and the bathroom has been cleaned. Yard work is caught up. Now it's time for a break.

Time to run some dungeons and slay some computer-generated beasties, demons, and other assorted nasties.

Changed my burnt out car headlight bulb; fixed the weatherstripping that was falling off of the garage door. Cinder's feeling pretty tough and self sufficient today. Also wondering if I went down to a local auto parts store and asked for someone to teach me about repairing my own car, how many people would really believe I was in earnest about wanting to learn?

And I earned $10 towards tea by taking a survey, provided I buy tea by Sept 9. Well I'm going to want tea sometime anyway (and I've done a decent job of using up a lot of what is in the tea cupboard).

What kind? Oolong? Darjeeling? Lapsing?

On a side note, my phone speech to text recognized none of those tea names. I am living in the wrong era.

Ah, relaxation.

Wasn't much of a break today, but it helps to relieve some tension. I'll take what I can get.

Well there's this chocolate mint oolong that I really like and will need more of soon (I've been rationing). Darjeeling is ok but I much prefer the fruit flavored tea, black or herbal. Mint tea is also good. But mostly I like variety.

You, madam, are a person after my own heart. If you lived close enough I would invite myself over for a cup of tea.
