The game is only about a month old and people are already getting bored of it. People are tired of being able to find nothing but the little commons. This is a great disservice to the players, especially to those who have spent money on it. Unless they make some drastic changes soon I imagine they will soon lose a lot of their players

Pokemon has been around for some.. 2 decades. Not everyone has seen the anime or played the older games, but hey, they're still selling lol (even without pokemon go). It's expected that a lot would quit playing it after some time. Seeing as most of them are millennials who won't even recognise a mewtwo when they see one (a friend of mine at work, took a 'which pokemon are you' test and got mewtwo so she asked me who it was and how to catch it, she's not a millennial tho, she's 30-ish).

By the time there's a new update, the rest of the world will follow again, and leave again. The thing is, in the end, it's just another game, like Tetris (which happens to be the best selling video game ever for GBA and GBC). But I don't know anyone in my circle of friends who plays it (might have, before, but not anymore).

To be honest, I don't play as much as I used to because I'm finding the same commons over and over. Without a good tracking system, I have little luck at finding rares even if I DO see them on my "nearby" / " sightings" tab. :(

We do have a great spot for Magikarp and I already have two gyrados and working towards a third. I'm sure that might be helpful when it comes to trading.

Nintendo I got something called Riolu lol. No idea...

I did start watching Pokemon again this summer, but I just got to episode 50 lol, so I may not know who that is for a while.

So basically, as a Mewtwo/Future Lucario hybrid, I would be pretty much unstoppable as Pokemon. Gotcha :p lol

Really? I got a bulbasaur, venonat, poliwag, paras, spearrow, pidgy, rattata, and a weedle and I just started playing. And I caught most of them in my house, which surprised me.

I think I saw either a gym or a wild vaporeon at a local church (I didn't want to be rude, so I didn't check it out). I made me a little happy that they were using the app to draw people to God, I laughed a little though because I it was a fun and silly thing to do.

You either have a really big house or live in a really populated city to be able to catch all of those! I've caught maybe three Pokemon in different parts of my house over the 4 weeks or so that I've been playing. And they don't seem to reappear!

God has a really good sense of humour. Many churches have used this as an opportunity to reach out to their communities. God is good!

I live in the suburbs somewhat close to Atlanta. There's a library, park, and a few shopping centers near here, but I can't shake the feeling that I just got lucky. Though I still don't quite know how the game works so who knows?

It is great that churches have seen the opportunity this game gives. It is a fun game, but it also gives you a chance to talk to people who you may not have had the chance to talk to before. Yes, God is good.

It seems the rares always spawn for me when I'm busy and don't have time to look for them.

Okay. So I broke out Pokemon Go for the first time in like 3 weeks while I was out tonight. I played for maybe idk 20 minutes. I caught a Vulpix, Bulbasaur, Bellsprout, Krabby, Raticate, Venonat, Goldeen, Oddish, Weedle, 2 Eevee, 2 Exeggcute, and a Ponyta. The variety of Pokemon still seems pretty good around here.

Tbh, I was using incense to help lol

We circled around the neighborhood a few times when we got back just to see if anything came up. A cop went out of his way to follow us around for a few minutes. It wasn't a coincidence... he was legit following us lol. I wanted to yell, "Not today, Officer Jenny!" XD
