Ok Dan, you have quoted one scripture where Paul deals with 'loving neighbour. There are usually more than one referring to laws and commandments....why are you missing them, especially those mentioned by Jesus/God Himself ?
You see, hearing Paul only is no different to hearing Moses only....men are not your authority/Savior - GOD IS !
AND the neighbour mentioned in the 10 commands is not the whole law nor the first law. Give this some thought Dan.
Here are the 55 places in the NASB New Testament where "fulfill" occurs. Is there one you'd like to discuss together?

I believe the main objection to honoring the Ten Commandments hinges on the sticky problem of #4.
If believers today acknowledge their importance, they are then faced with what to do about the Sabbath.
It is very hard for most folks to let go their grasp of long standing traditions even when faced with a sound argument.

"What will people think of me?"
"How will I explain this to my church friends?"
"Where will I then go to church?".

Ironically, the 4th Commandment isn't about worship services or going to church - it's about RESTING and spending an entire day thinking about God.

""Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men." - Mark 7:8

Yes, traditions . Another thing we are warned against in the NT. I know , lets just read it and then m do it. Nah, too easy, too much freedom. We like bondage.

Just like the children of Israel , they wanted a king, not God to rule over them. We are are sinfully religious by nature, we fear freedom.

I see holding to the traditions of men in the face of facts to be bondage.

If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, [from] doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of YHVH, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking [thine own] words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in YHVH; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of YHVH hath spoken [it].

Wow that was hard to read. I don't know why folks use this version when it's extra pronunciation with all the thous and thys. So many easier translations, and they don't take anything away from Scripture.

Mark 2:27
[SUP]27 [/SUP]Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.

The Sabbath was made for us to enjoy a day of rest.

The Pharisees made man for the Sabbath. Its the Pharisees who are teaching a false Sabbath. Its people like the Pharisees who are teaching we cannot enjoy a day of rest because these people want to "play" at being God.

You really need to read what God the Holy Spirit says about the Sabbath in the New Testament because we are no longer under the Old Testament.

Tonight when you say your prayers, you be sure and explain that to God now, okay?
Because He is the One saying it is His Holy Day.

"Christ is become of no effect unto you,

whosoever of you are justified by the law;

ye are fallen from grace."

“The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it. But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate,

For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
Matthew 11:13 NKJV

Both verses red letter, straight from God Himself. I really am interested in trying to top or amend ×what He's already said on the matter.

What I see here is that the 'emphasis is really on YOU/ME and not your neighbour....

HOW do you love yourself ? If your own standing is not right how can you do right by/to your neighbour ?

Some just don't understand nor accept the cross, they rely on their own works. Just as the Pharisee's did.

Without the redemptive work of Yeshua HaMashiach, we would be without hope.
But get this. The God in Isaiah 58 is the same God that went to the cross.
The Sabbath is His!
This isn't two different Gods.
When He tells us about His Sabbath in Isaiah 58, that did not change to Sun-day after the cross.
It hurts our pride, but yes, we were tricked.
