How about the unwritten command of common sense? God said that man must "cleave to his wife" and become ONE flesh. What part of one is it that you don't understand?
He forgot to read that part, im4gvn2. And besides, that doesn't benefit his case.

Only man can take a wife. (As per the biblical way)
Having said that a woman with many partner is said to be a whore or in adultery. Thus breaking the law and under the bondage of sin
So, the man doesn't commit adultery?

Interesting how Jesus said that if a man lusts after a woman, he already committed adultery.

Ah but a man with multiple partners is ok. But if a woman has multiple partners, she's a whore. Right. Ok.

Here is the written command of common sense...What part of one is it that you don't understand?

Hosea
Chapter 1

1 :The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
2 The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.

Chapter 2
1 :Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.
2 :So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley:
3 :And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee.

Here is my advice to you a man that do not believe
that God wants you to have more than one wife.

Do not marry more than one wife.

Here is my advice to you a man
that do not believe
that God wants your neighbor to have more than one wife.

Mind your own business.

Mind your own business.
You make it everybody's business when you come here and parade
your ungodly beliefs and try to pass them off as being Scripturally
sound when they are not, and have been shown to you not to be.
That you choose to be willfully blind simply shows your bent to
disobedience and rebellion. The Spirit of Truth does not guide you.

Haven't you read, "I must be about my father's business", so as you can see from scripture, God's business IS my business. Perhaps it is time it became yours also.

David, Solomon are among the two popular biblical personalities that had many wives and concubines

My question is did they break the 10 commandments for having many wives? Besides worshipping other gods and murdering the hushband in case of david?

What part of commandment did they bteak?
they didn't break the commandments and I don't even think it was a sin back then. in our culture we are devoted to a single mate and it's unthinkable to have more than one wife but in those days it was the norm to have several different wives. But I much prefer the one wife thing my heart cannot give full devoted love to several women I only have room enough for one to love whole heartly and with my entire being and soul

But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil:
but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

I thank you for your wonderful love. I love the Joy of the Lord.

You are welcome! It is my pleasure to deliver the Truth of the Lord and His revealed written Word to you. Now go and do likewise, as He said to the sinners. And so you, too, should stop sinning: stop pretending, and stop trying to pass off your poor interpretations as proper exegesis.

It's clear throughout the Bible. Go back to the earliest chapters of Genesis and you'll find God designed us as one man for one woman.

Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” Genesis 2:18

And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.
Then the man said,

This at last
is bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called Woman,
because she was taken out of Man.”

Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

Tell me I am without knowledge concerning this...
How did you all become experts on what is written in the bible?
To the point you are always right?

Haven't you heard the good news? Jesus took what I deserve upon Himself. If you read the gospels you may be astounded at what you might learn! Pray for understanding as you read. You are sorely lacking in that regard. You are welcome! :)

Are you admitting you are possibly wrong? Or suggesting that the only possibility is that we are wrong? Hmmm, choices, choices. I will go with suggestion number two. You think the only possibility is that we are wrong. Still, you have given a total of zero Scriptures to support your view. That rates another, hmmm.

God wanted ONE man, ONE wife. The men desired more. The Lord said OK, you want it? you got it! Here are the rules that go along with your desire that I didn't ordain.

So yep, there will always be those trying to find technicalities to justify their desires that run counter to what God wants.
That's a significantly limited understanding of biblical history that lacks so much. That wasn't the basis of the polygamy as a concept, nor a practice and how it formed to begin with. Additionally it's very convenient to wrap up someone else as having questionable motives when you personally are against a practice for your own reasons. However, whether you like it or not, the reality is there is biblical teaching of polygamy and practice of it to this day throughout various cultures for sound reason.

No, I didn't. I've been a Christian for as long as I can remember and I've read widely. I also have Holy Spirit.
