Abing, how do you evolve your Pokemon in Pokemon Go? Also, Great Balls are proving to be not so great. They don't seem to snap up high-level Pokemon or even very low-level Pokemon. Talk about frustrating.
When you tap on a Pokemon, there's an option to "Evolve" right below "Power Up." You'll be using candies to evolve. There's a required number of candies (different for each pokemon, and each evolution). Like, for Pidgeys, you only need 12 to evolve to Pidgeotto. You get the candies from catching pokemon (3 for each catch) and from transferring your pokemon to the professor (1 candy per pokemon). Pidgeot (I think) requires 25 or 50 candies to evolve.

Magikarp needs 400. xD xD Gyarados is freaking special.

It might help, when you're catching pokemon (with either great ball or just pokeball) to spin/shake your pokeball before throwing it (you get curveball exp bonus +10). Also, use try to get great throw as much as possible (+50xp) and high chances of catching high-level pokemon.

I was at work today and saw a poliwhirl but the signal was so bad inside that I couldn't catch it.

I caught a 776 Gloom today, but I already have two, so it wasn't that exciting lol. All I want is an Abra. I've been one short of evolving for like a month now. -_-

Thanks, Abing. I'm going to have to learn to put some spin on my PokeBall throws.
Sorry, I have another question. It says my bag is full and I'm sure I've been missing out on some cool stuff because of it (when I levelled up from 11 to 12). What items in my bag can I get rid of or lose some to make room for PokeBalls etc?
I currently have:

135 potions
62 super potions
115 revives
2 lucky eggs
5 incense
5 poke balls
16 great balls
2 lures
4 razz berries

Thanks.

I would delete all of the regular potions. They're pretty much useless. I'm too stupid and have been deleting all potions/revives because I didn't know you could still get pokestop xp even if your bag was full lol.

Fortunately backpack upgrades are only 2 bucks apiece. So far I have only upgraded it twice.

Thanks, guys! I was a bit worried because I'm very close to levelling up again. And I have three eggs that will hatch in about 100 metres times.

I now have only 15 potions. Plenty of room for other stuff.

Yay! Yeah, get rid of the revives too  you only really need it if you're battling gyms non stop. I upgraded by bag twice T_T now I only keep at least 50 for each potion, and revives. The rest I spend on pokeballs/greatballs

I might play a little tonight before I hit the gym. I did get my Kadabra today though lol. Now working on evolving Ivysaur, Nidorino/Nidarina, and Gloom.

Cheers, Abing! I really should try fighting at a gym some time. I mean at a PokeGym. ;)

I still don't have an Abra, nor a Kadabra T_T. There's not a lot of pokemon around my home anymore, sadly.

I think this is the part where I have to... 'travel across the land, searching far and wide'

Kangaskhan are reasonably easy to find here in Australia (I wonder why? ;) ), but Tauros are only available if you hatch them from eggs.
