I'm curious, sister Jenny.... I know you're a pretty levelheaded young lady, but some of your comments have me puzzled...
If you don't believe that securing our borders is a valuable thing to do, what do we do about the issues of enemies of our country being able to flood across the borders with no resistance?
What would be a good approach to stopping it?
First of all I would like to say how grateful I am for your polite way of addresing this
Well, let me clarify.
What I'm saying isn't all about the wall. The wall is merely an example. What I'm worried about is the federal aggrandizement I'm seeing in Trump. He's is throwing out bones dressed up like walls to stop illegal immigration, deporting forces etc, which comes across as disguised Big Gov't programs. Once this is on the road, he will, most likely, judging from how he is fixing to be using federal power to make this happen, there will be other DC programs heading our way.
Bottom line, to me he sounds like a liberal democrat that is willing to abuse states rights for his own purposes, by adding to the federal power. To be honest, I'm kinda surprised to see that a lot of good ole republicans don't understand this.
Trump is a businessman, and he is used to be the one making the calls, I'm afraid that power streak will fit a strong DC better than letting 50 states having a say.
