In the SDAs Ministry Magazine of October 1981. Ron Graybill who was the assistant secretary of the Ellen G White Estate at the time stated on page 8 as follows...
''We believe the revelation and inspiration of both the Bible and Ellen Whites writings to be of equal quality. The superintendence of the Holy Spirit was just as careful and thorough in one case as in the other''.
This belief alone is enough to prove that the SDA is false as far as Im concerned,especially as it is known that she plagiarised some of her writings which the SDA describes as ''literary borrowing''

Ron does not speak for all Adventists. I'm SDA and I only bother with one Book, the Holy Bible. I do not agree 100% with everything, but then who does with-in their own church groups.

I use to go to an AOG and Baptist church but they could not fill my thirst (not meaning the thirst that only Jesus can fill, but my thirst for learning about what God's Word says) or answer my questions, in fact I left there with more questions about why they could not answer them or why they only use a couple of verses. I did studies with an SDA Pastor and never have I been given such an in-depth study of the Holy Bible (KJV) Each and every answer this Pastor gave me was from the Holy Bible (kjv), not Ellen white. That's the book for me, the Holy Bible. I don't care what people say, I only care about sharing Jesus with lost people so they can know about true new life in Salvation in Jesus by accepting Him as Lord and Saviour and repenting of their sins. Soul sleep till the second coming, that's not what salvation is about, does hell burn forever or does it consume you, salvation is not based on what you think of that. Have you been washed in blood is what matters when you (or me) stand before God, not what you taught about sleeping or going straight to heaven when you die.

An independent Lawyer look at that about borrowing and under the laws at the time, she could not of been charge for stealing others writtings.

A lot of your verses paint a different picture if used in proper context and verses before and after are added, but that's why people do that. To put them in context means they can't change the Word, so the leave verses out, not add other verses related to that same topic so they can twist it to suit themselves. Its a sad world when people do that.

Don't be a sheeple dc... if there are two sides to a coin then one must see both sides first. Test all things, study all things. I use to make that same mistake as just believing what the AOG church told me. Now I test all things and when someone shares something, I will study both sides to get a better and fairy view, not just one side. A way to put it is like this, if you see a car crash and some one else sees the same crash but they are on the other side of the street, then you both se the same thing but from different views. They need to see your view and you need to see their view to get a better picture of things. Its the same with God's Word, study all claims and see for yourself by God's guiding. Blessings 2 u.
Because it was deemed Legal doesn't mean it was morally acceptable, anymore than using a free stock photograph today and giving the impression of being the Photographer.

Ron Graybill held a high position in the SDA as being involved with Ellen Whites estate. Whatever your personal reading
habits it is obvious that Ellen Whites writings hold a central place in the SDA church, which even publishes a bible with her
comments included. Whatever Bible you use I would find it strange that it wasn't one with Ellen Whites comments included. The SDA push her writings at every opportunity. You can even get them for an Amazon Kindle.
Another thing I notice about SDA Publication is for the true church they seem very coy about displaying their name. I was given a tract recently
and had to comb through tiny print to discover its origin. Eventualy I found SDA included.

They also like to change the title of EGW's dang book. I keep expecting to pick up "To Kill A Mockingbird III: Kill Mo' Mockingbird", open it up, and find out it's really The Great Controversy.
LOL She pops up in the most unlikely places. I wouldn't be suprised if the Harry Potter saga was really penned by her.!

It would be more accurate to say the SDA beliefs are "unorthodox":

synonyms: unconventional · unusual · radical · nonconformist
By your standard, those who adhere to Dispensationalism would be a cult as it was not taught by the early church but appeared in the 19th century.
Although I disagree with a lot of the SDA teachings, when compared to what's been done by the RCC, throughout history I'd say the SDAs are a pretty mild bunch and don't deserve to be ganged up on.

I just hope your not rejected in the last days because most of what you believe has been brought in by the whore church into mainstream churches.

amazing ... and sad. what I think of here is the log and the cinder....please show me one, just one denomination who is without error or compromise in one form or another, either you use the WORD as your great standard or you follow man in many of the 42000 different denominations all of whom claim truth and each has only a part and only a few of these actually live and teach according to the word of truth.
we all should be on the same path that our Savior is leading us on, if you choose to follow man then please at least count the cost, as for me, that cost is far too great, "as for me and my house , we will serve Yahweh".
