Resigning yourself to being a cripple for the rest of your life? You don't have to watch this whole thing (though it IS a good flick)..... just start at about 48:00 minutes, and watch ten minutes, or so. And Bruce Lee didn't even have faith in our God.

I can't afford to give up. :) If I do, satan wins and THAT ain't gonna happen.

In April, 2012 I had a stroke that the doctors said I should have died from. It didn't happen. And you can ask *Tourist* or *JesusLives* if I hobble around like I'm disabled. And I also HAD two bulging disks. I don't anymore. Mostly because of God, but also because I refuse to live with the label of "disabled."

You certainly don't hobble around. With the grace of God and determination on your part God allowed you to overcome these serious issues. I'm no stranger to pain either, or depression and anxiety but lately I've been letting it get me down. I said a prayer this morning on my knees asking God to give me strength and courage to work through this and become stronger. I pray for all of the suffering people of the world. There's certainly no shortage of them.

I hear ya.. When I had my herniated disk and sciatica, everyone told me to take it easy. I couldn't because I live alone and no one helps me do stuff, like house cleaning, chores, etc etc.. I HAD to get up and do stuff and go places, doctor's appts, shopping, taking out trash, checking mail.. But I made it through by sheer stubborness and God's strength. :)

I can't drive because of my seizures, and that's a good thing. I would've killed myself or someone else if I had a seizure while driving. Luckily, the bus can take me where I need to go, like the mall, grocery stores, drs appts.. :) I'm classified as disabled because of my seizures, but I don't LIVE like I'm disabled and I don't define myself by them.

And probably a whopping percentage of people who give up don't have to either.
