I would expect as much from someone who does not even know what happened to Lot's wife....
I know the Bible tells us she was Turned "Into a Pillar of Salt" and that is another description of "Fire and Brimstone"...I watched a documentary what Archiologists found and explained..and it was From the Fire and Brimstone that fell.

I read the Word God in Genesis 19 and it said she turned into a Pillar of Salt, When we start relying on TV shows on distorted communicated Bible knowledge, we open ourselves to deception.

She was killed by The Fire and Brimstone that fell from heaven, and destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah
Genesis 19:15-17 (KJV)
And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.
And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

Genesis 19:26 (KJV)
But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

I do not wish to be unkind sir, but perhaps you should invest in a real bible.

Again sir i do not wish to be unkind, but Holy Spirit is not an Archaeologist, he is the interpreter of the word of God and it is our choice to accept it or not. We are not going to be judged by archaeologist, but by the word of God. if we believe and trust in the opinions of archaeologist, we can be led to believe in anything.

Personally I don't support gay marriage. I have 2 friends of mine that got "married"...they were not Christian to my knowledge altho one was an altar boy in a Catholic church...what ever that means in real life.

I don't for a second think it's my "duty" to tell unbelieving homosexuals how they are supposed to live. They don't need to change their behavior...they need to hear the gospel.

For the "believers" that say it's ok to lead a gay lifestyle I would say that they have a "confused" identity and I would teach them the gospel as well. It's obvious by what they are doing that they don't know what happened to them when they came to Christ. I think the elders in their lives need to sit down with them and teach them the grace of Christ and in some cases to reprove them in this error.

This needs to be done under the direction of the Holy Spirit as He knows exactly what to do with each person individually. Sometimes people are caught up in sin and don't know how to address it and thus out of frustration they make "excuses" for it because of all their confusion. These need to be taught the truth of who they are in Christ - others may need to be " delivered over to satan for the destruction of the flesh"...this needs to be done by a "spiritual elder"...and seems to be a very rare case in the N.T.

The true grace of the gospel of Christ "teaches" us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live godly in this present age. The final answer to me is to preach Jesus to them.
I dont think its a confused identity, I think it a spiritual illiness.

You are correct; all that matters is she died. I look forward to chatting with you again.

All have sinned, we are all in need, we all have issues.
Love the sinner hate the sin. It isn't up to us to condemn but we should not condone sin.
Jas 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Q. Is the Pope Catholic?

A. Would a cow lick Lot's wife?

Still a tourist attraction to this very day!

Sodom and Gommorah has a lot of teaching points for all cbristians to learn and observe... Homosexuals wanting to "Know" The angels. God sent to destroy this place.... Rebellion, from Lot's Son in laws, and his married daughters and his own wife. Iike it is in 2016.

If it a legal union, is it wrong to be neutral on the topic as a Christian? I feel neutral about it, I guess. I have two gay friends, and they actually are neutral about it. lol But, part of me feels that it's a secular matter, and is it so wrong for two consenting adults to wish to legally marry, even if of the same sex?

I'm seeing that a lot with the new generation coming up, the so-called Millennials born after 1985. It's just not an issue with them.

Homosexuality is a Sin. People who honor and obey God's Holy Word know this. The World has it's own thinking, most is contrary to God's
Word and teachings. The Bible teaches Beleivers to be Holy and spiritual minded and not conform to world thinking if it is contrary to God's Word.

We should pray for all unrepentant Sinners: Family, Friends, everyone. The Lake of Fire is forever.

You should not be neutral, God does not give us that option. You need to stand on God's word and not on what the world wants you to say, believe, etc. Jesus made it clear that marriage is between one man and one woman in Matthew 19:4-6, Mark 10:6-9, Genesis 2:18, 20b-24, and probably more verses. Please reconsider and accept what the Bible says about marriage that also goes to you Talishi. God bless. Have a beautiful day! :)

It is more loving to tell people a truth they might not want to hear in order to help them rather than just tell them what will make them temporarily happy. I appreciate you telling me this, in these words. Have a great day too!

While I don’t support gay marriage and realize that it is a sin, I do think that it should be legal. Following the golden rule, we wouldn’t want the government to tell us that we can’t practice Christianity, so why is it our place to tell gay people that they can’t marry the person that they want to? They were given free will just like us, and their judgement day will come. God doesn’t honor those marriages anyway, so you can’t really argue that it degrades traditional marriage. I do disagree with the way that gay marriage was legalized, however; the constitution does not talk about marriage and the supreme court is supposed to base their decisions off of the constitution, so this case had no place in the supreme court. Anyway, just my thoughts. I want to make it completely clear, however, that I do NOT support gay marriage, I just don’t think that it should be illegal.

Luke 6:37-38
[SUP]37 [/SUP]“Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. [SUP]38 [/SUP]Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”

We are not to judge the Gay's. Nor are we to judge if they want to marry each other.

This is why I'm confused. I just love Jesus and try to share that love with others. And part of following Jesus is to follow His teachings but I don't feel right judging people. :/

You do not judge them because God's Word does that for you. It's an abomination to Him. Therefore, just do no support what's an abomination to Him. Period - end of story!
