Week 1 Ladies and Gents. Let's try to get through this season together. There will be emotional high's and low's. All that matters is we enjoy it, if it get's too intense take a knee and hydrate then get back in there your team needs you and leave it all on the field.

This thread is where you can come to gloat, vent, rant, hypothesize, or just admire the beauty that is Football America.

Be respectful (I'm talkin' to you Steelers, and Raiders fans) and let's do this thing.

Who already has Superbowl picks?

I haven't made my Super Bowl picks yet but it's safe to say that it won't be the Steelers or the Raiders.

The entire AFC would love to take you up on that offer.

I actually have the Steelers going to the Super Bowl losing to the Seahawks.

I think you should include Rams fans considering they seemed to fight fans of opposing teams during each preseason game. Guess LA forgot how to be civil with a football team? I know it's been a while, but man.

Interesting, Steelers are lined up to dominate their division imo.

Done, I'll throw in Philly fans too since they basically have jail cells in the basement of their stadium...and I'm team Cowboys.

I've got Ben as my qb in fantasy football. So I kinda hope they do. Then again I picked the Colts to win it all last year, so what do I really know.

L.A. and Oakland have the worst fans.....just read on the web about it or search youtube how they treat opposing fans by punching them in the face, throwing beer on them...there's a reason they call Oakland the black hole and it is appropriate b/c most of the fans are exactly that....a black hole where human refuse poses as "fans"......

Well he arguably has the best receiver in the league in Antonio Brown, so that's a good pick for fantasy.

I think the media has some role to play in that as well. They labeled those fans and then the fans seem to be inspired to uphold that identity. I like the Raiders as a team though.

Luck is going to regress more this year....I'll put myself out on a limb with that but I think aside from his injuries last season, DC's have him figured out by now on tendencies etc...and it will be harder to replicate his earlier success....

Rg3 may have a bounce back year in cleveland, and lead the team to a surprising wild card 10-6 record into the postseason as potential 6th seed....

Russell wilson will regress as well b/c no marshawn lynch/ground attack to rely on as much...I think personally he's the best qb of his draft class and better than luck/newton/rg3 but without ground and pound in seattle their team even with it's stellar defense may only finish 10-6 or 11-5 at best.....they won't dominate the NFC but they'll be in the postseason

Cam newton will become a better pocket passer with k Benjamin back in the line up...he can just throw it up and let benjamin just out muscle the other db....the drawback will be fewer rushing yards than in 2015.....

I'm leaning towards Cards over Panthers in NFC. Possibly the Pat's in the AFC depending on how Jimmy does filling in for Brady. If they go 0-4 forget it.

I can't wait for the match up tonight. I know Tommy QB is out but Belicheck always finds a way.

Assuming they don't go 0-4 without him, my early pick is Tom Brady taking New England to the Super Bowl again. I'd say Pittsburgh and Kansas City are probably their biggest threats though. The NFC is a little tougher to predict. I would have picked my Vikings, but we lost Bridgewater, so I'd probably say Arizona right now. New England over Arizona.

Giants fan here...but I think Dak will take over for Romo permanently and Romo will be traded by the end of season or just plain released b/c of injuries....there is a lot of promise in Dak but again it's preseason ....he may get his real game speed today against JPP and Big blue.....Dak prescott will be the Russell wilson for the cowboys and they will stick with him if he goes 4-2 or whatever time romo returns....I think romo may be going like Alex Smith, injured, replaced, then traded away for picks/clear cap space....

Cowboys D is a hot mess, I'm seeing your Giants and Eli padding some great stats today. Dak will have to put up at least 28 points to keep up.
