People who cannot refute the scriptures and the Truth in the message shown in the gospel of Jesus Christ often resort to making personal attacks and bearing false witness on the messenger himself. This has been a pattern from a certain "sect" in these forums for sometime now. But do they not know what the Lord says about those who would curse his people, and would try to hurt His messengers whom He has sent? :)

What's THE MESSAGE?
Can you be clear to all those little lamby ears listening in who haven't and can't eat MEAT?

Great point..
To those who have been given much, don't you think much is required.
And those who knew their father's will and did not do it will receive more stripes than the one who did not know His father's will...(even though he was deserving of many stripes).

Correct?

I think it might be a good time to take a look at Luke 12
For me their is an order to spiritual understanding. The first step is to walk in purity and love.
From there the rest follows.

About being given much, I wonder now how many actually understand what they have been
given or even what they are meant to do. It seems to be difficult enough just to stand.

Actually you missed the VERY FIRST STEP
It is amazing they can not see it.

Their first step is things THEY DO.. Things which puff themselves up.. They totally ignore the first step is the cross. and humility and calling out on God to save them, because they realise how guilty they are..

If their first step is in thinking they can do good. they have missed the train altogether..

Why don't you do what JESUS said to do...follow HIM...and stop looking at your brother.
"what is it to YOU that HE should let him (or her) tarry until HE comes? YOU, YOU, YOU follow HIM...
Okay?
One of the reason Martha's service was at the risk of suffering, was because she was too busy looking at her sister...
and in her "worries" about what she shouldn't have worried about, her own service was divided...
I think you have missed the point. I came to share love, encouragement, grace, blessing
to know how to walk deeper in Christ and was set upon.

This feeling and reality is still here and continues. I read the sentiments put forward.
Now you are right, I am following Christ. If I was not following Christ I would be following
something else. I, as in my self existance, which encompases everything about me, chooses
and goes here and there. It is I that sins, it is I who walks in righteousness and purity or gets
defiled. Your language is like the idea you can be self excluded, when for the whole of your life
you will be you. Paul, Peter, John etc followed Jesus. Are you ashamed to follow Jesus?

I am not, He is the Lord, the Lord of Glory, the Lamb who was slain, but now is alive.

And we follow Jesus in the power of the Spirit, redeemed and washed, a holy people called unto
God. Maybe this is too assertive for you, because you are ashamed and dare not shout, Jesus is
mine and I am His, because He told me so. Do you believe His words, the words of God made man?

If you believe in Him you will have eternal life. Nothing can snatch it away from you, if you follow.

If all would keep ever before them what they began in they too will remain on both THE FATHER and THE SON...and this is what HE promised us

Even ETERNAL LIFE

some "go out"
And CHRIST's warning to HIS BODY is that they remember what they began in

In OT scriptures GOD referred HIS PEOPLE (more than once) to pay careful attention to THE FOUNDATION

HE said so in Haggai 2, Ezra 3 and Zechsriah 4

This is what the issue is, You had it right to start, Then you had to add the words at the end. That takes a gospel which looks like God, and twists int into a gospel which is not from God.

It is like eve saying God said not only not eat, but dont touch, She twisted and added to Gods words, and made a statement which is not even what God said, And what did it cause? It caused her to question God, and satan came in and tempted her, and she fell.

Paul said, Do not add, For there is one gospel. anyone who teaches another gospel (if any words are added or subtracted) it is not from God

Jesus said, No one and nothing is able to snatch us away, He did not say, Except if we follow. He said nothing, no one and no thing.. To add the words "if we follow) is to add to the word of God, and makes God himself out to be a liar.

"How to walk deeper in CHRIST"

Didn't you know the last will be first?
Do you want to know why?

Go back to the parable of the workers in the vineyard

Or remember Paul's words about those at the "end of the procession"

Sir?

Either one is in CHRIST
Or they are outside the DOOR

And it appears to me that those who come through the gate at the last hour are closer to THE DOOR

Fresh and pure straight from HIS PRESENCE
Not so of those who have worked and weathered the heat of the early hours

I can't see HIM. I'm at the end of the line. I was much more happier when I could see HIM

But now. I walk by a mature and steadfast faith

And not by sight.
And it appears to me that this is what HE expects us to do

And get the babies in

But here we are fighting with each other for what reason? Are we afraid that we should step on one another just to get a glimpse of HIM

Rest in HIM and yes love one another
We who have entered in by the DOOR are in ONE HOUSE

We do not "fight" for faith.

We instead run a race.

Philippians 2:14-16
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Do all things without grumbling or disputing; [SUP]15 [/SUP]so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, [SUP]16 [/SUP]holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain.
