I don't think I've heard of con queso cheese dip, but it sounds tasty! If you're drinking port, try little bites of pickled onion in between (store-bought). It sounds like a terrible combination, but it's awesome. Beers go great with seafood or barbeques. I don't really think I've had them with other meals.
 
Ok...In all honesty I am feeling a tad bit of a buzz. My judgment seems to be still intact. I'm not having any lustful or hateful thoughts. I don't feel the need to sin. I love you man.

Ok....now I've had three. I don't normally go past three but for the sake of this experiment I'm gonna have 4. Have I sinned yet?

For some, alcohol really is a touchy subject. They've had family members dead because of it. Those grown up in alcoholic homes feel that effects today. I don't really care for this passive aggressiveness going on here, especially for something serious like alcohol. I think it shows a person's true maturity, sadly. It doesn't matter to me if one has a few. I am able to have one or two and stop. But I've had alcoholism in my family, and growing up in an alc

People die in car accidents. Should we not talk about cars also? I once did an intervention on a guy who drank from dusk til dawn. I hauled him to treatment. He is still drinking himself to death.
 
but you also have to be responsible to avoid situations that would upset you. I have a billion million triggers =/
I get the point and I don't want anyone hurting of course but to imply someone is a bad christian cause they drink..

I didn't imply a person was a bad person. I said in my very first post a person should know his or her limits. That implies drinking is okay as long as one isn't getting drunk, which is translated back to the Bible.
 
The thread isn't about this, though. If you want to brag about how you get drunk or are drunk, start a thread in the miscellaneous section. Mockery doesn't belong in the Bible discussion section. I've only known one person who died from alcoholism, but this isn't triggering anything...it's that this type of conversation doesn't have anything to do with a Bible discussion. lol
