Some people are just so fearful and unsure about God's love for them that they feel they must appease God by making it their life's purpose to "correct" others. They think they're gaining God's favor yet they have no peace. They're all the time restless and critical and there's no joy in their posts. They don't preach Christ, they preach themselves. :p
And some people run around the halls judging others from their lofty mountains like they are white as the driven snow speaking from whence they nought................

I've been to the bottom...at least my bottom I suppose. Everyone is different and has more or less tolerance for pain.
I was raised in my "bottom", in the hood, as some would say. Surrounded by alcohol, drugs, racism, poverty, & I wasn't a "tough guy". Imagine how that was, lol. It was only God that brought me outta that, cause by psychological rules I should have blended..... but it didn't happen. I never would have made it. That's why I try not to take advantage of this liberty, wherewith Christ made me free. I don't want to touch the garment stained by sin.

Enough about me. Thank you for this little talk and allowing me to change the topic to something more peaceful. Goodnite:)

The truth is that I like people....and not just the ones who agree with me. The people I choose to have nothing to do with are the ones who look down on high from their lofty perch.
I suppose God is lofty! Wht did you expect? You claim Christ but you sit here and drink four beers and get yourself a nice buzz? Who are you people ?

Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires.…

Correcting other Christians is not wrongful judging when done in a Christlike manner towards those Christians who choose to continue in sin;

No one has it all together, without Jesus, IMO.

Yes, I saw you doing this earlier. It was rather annoying.

True. But that's not your approach. It's fire from the hip and then cry home to mummy when people disagree with you.

The point is that the same rules don't apply to everyone....and I think the Apostle Paul illustrated that very well.

I have literally never met a person who has it all together...and I know some pretty great men....men who came from great families and have great families and careers and obvious relationships with God. Who are above reproach...but they still have their struggles and sin issues. They may not be big ones in the eyes of the world but they are big enough concerning God.
Thats my beef Sirk. The whole world is out looking at drinking,smoking,cussing,drugs.....you name all the overt (Seen)sins. And God is looking the heart........for every drunk, there are 50000 self righteous prigs that kick him into hell.

And Jesus Christ himself went after the 50000 self righteous prigs. Not the drunk.

Wheres the drunk, prostitute, druggie who was called a brood of vipers?

Jesus had compassion for the broken and contempt for those who held themselves up high. My heart is for the broken.

I do to....and interestingly....I've found the ones that think they are all that and a can of corn are terrible friends and have the most broken relationships.

I agree with the point you're making. But does that not mean we reach out to those that are cursing like sailors, or smoking or door or drinking til they're slurring in their speech each night? Shouldn't we know when to discern to reach out to those that are hurting?
