But those are about email scams and payouts made to countries that are not supposed to receive money due to international sanctions.

What we're talking about is an online website where you can order stuff like on amazon.

My paypal account got hacked once, and $65 was deducted from my balance out of nowhere. Paypal customer service was really great though. They got it fixed really quickly and refunded me within the same week. Though, I'd rather not have random deductions xD

Yea I know, but sites like amazon and google will do their homework whereas websites like if there was a website selling new ipad's for ridiculously good prices and they use a paypal and securelock logo to spoof as being legal but they really aren't.....websites like alexa and others will tell you if the website is a fake,spyware, phishing scam, and that you shouldn't use your account/login for paypal b/c their connection is unsecured on the fake website and can siphon off you login/password once you attempt to login.....

If you think a deal is too good to be true, chances are it is and best to see reviews for the website/google page rank before typing in financial info/payment.....people are opportunists on the web...better to be safe then sorry...

Yea I recommend changing your financial related passwords at minimum every 6-8 months, yea it may be a headache but better your money safe than someone else emptying it out ;) Cyber criminals if they can get one password on your email and you use the same one for everything can sweep you clean if they know the password....best to change it every so often....

Yeah, password reuse is a major security problem. It's easy to use the same password for everything, but then anybody who knows one password can access anything.

The problem is... once you have the power of someone's password, what do you do with it?
