I want to change my username and I've contacted admin about this but have so far received no reply - it's been about 3 days now. Maybe I didn't sent it to the right person or did something else wrong. Does anyone know the procedure? Thanks

which adman did you contact? Personally I have contacted robo op himself a couple times and he always responded back
 
I can also look into it for you but there is a chance you would have to make a new account

I don't know, I have a couple of possibilities. I still get people assuming I'm angry or even that the parrots are angry lol. I get a little tired of explaining that mad = crazy.
 
Hi MPW if you go to the home page and click on chat rules (the first forum sticky
thread) it does say that if you are not already a supporter their is a fee as Blue mentioned).

I like your current name, it gives you character, plus I've just got use to it.
If you change it I will have to remember it all over again! I'm bad at names. Lol
 
If you do change your name, PLEASE keep it under about 18 letters/characters.

Temporary Circumstances and a few others have used longer names, and it make their names too long to directly and conveniently open a post if they were the last persons to post in that thread.

Instead of just one click, for them you now have to go through about three unnecessarily extra steps just to open their last remarks in a thread. And you have to do that every time they were the last person to post in a given thread.

Keep the names limited to about 18 characters.

let me just take the opportunity of this thread to once again bring to any moderator's attention that is reading this, that i want to have the name "post" ((in all lowercase)), and always have, since i joined, but there is already a user in the database with the name "Post" -- a user who has never once made a single comment on the website, as far as i can tell, and who has been inactive for many years, in fact, completely inactive ever since they joined and took that username.

so "posthuman" would be happy for that user "Post" to be deleted, and for "posthuman" to have his username changed to "post"
