does FE have any explanation at all for aurorae?
these are very-well explained, and when they occur is generally predictable by closely watching the sun for flares. the time it takes for a flare to reach the earth, and visibly produce aurorae is further proof of its great distance from us, too. in fact, because through solar observing spacecraft and ground-based telescopes these can be predicted, if NASA is really 100% hoaxes and conspiracy, then they also must be able to control the northern & southern lights.
i guess this would take understanding the physics of them, and what they are, to realize that they indicate even visually that FE must be false -- a level of comprehension that people who buy into FE don't generally have, else clearly they wouldn't buy into FE in the first place, being able to see through all the smoke and mirrors.
if Bladerunner has conceded that he cannot support the existence of sunrise/sunset and is content to just ignore reality on that point, if anyone wants to tell me what FE says about the northern and southern lights, i think i'd find it "fascinating"

Hi All, I have a question... Correct me if I am wrong but as I understand it, this image is the generally accepted heliocentric model. (Obviously not to scale)
(Use vice-versa depending on you location on the Earth)
The reason they say seasons change is due to our position to the sun as the image shows, Notice the axis is ALWAYS pointing to Polaris.
In the SUMMER as we rotate west to east, the "sunsets" and "sunrises" make sense. We rotate DOWN (toward the sun) so the sun appears to be going UP for MORNING, and as we rotate UP (away from the sun) the sun appears to be going DOWN for EVENING.
Moving on to WINTER... Here, it is OPPOSITE, as we rotate UP (toward the sun) the sun would appear to be going DOWN (MORNING) and as we rotate DOWN (away from the sun) it would make the sun appear to go UP (EVENING).
I think I stated that correctly, my brain and words sometimes don't like to mesh.
So, any ideas on this? Am I missing something?

Well it's not really vice versa depending on your location on earth for the earth spins one complete revaluation in one cycle of a day and the earth spins around the Sun in one complete revaluation in one cycle of a year which take 365 days. And the earth revaluation around the Sun is a elongated path and our earth has a slight wobble as well.
Yes, I should have been more clear that my vice versa was referring only to the SUMMER/WINTER in the NORTHERN/SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE.

Was the intent of your post to only elaborate on the model or to also give a reason why we don't view the sun "going up" for evening in the Winter? (If the latter was included, I apologize because I didn't catch it).

Have we become so arrogant and egotistical and self-center that we have become the little Gods and know everything.Yes, mankind believed that the sky was solid and made by God up until 1500's. So from before Noah, the people of the world, the Egyptian, the Assyrian, the Persian, the Greek and of course the Roman empires all thought of as the sky as solid. Only when it got to "Modern Man" have we been throwing God "out the window."
So here is my challenge: Show me God did not make a "Solid" Firmament. don't forget your proof.

i read both sides of the argument in detail and there is enough reasons to hang my belief on either side, but than i realised that it had nothing to do with salvation and i've just spent many hours on something that doesn't really matter. God is in control and that's all that matters.
I could spend many hours on so many things that don't matter, I knew the only thing that really mattered was a relationship with my Creator and through this relationship He would sustain me and fulfil my "worldly" needs so that I could focus my attention in His Way and grow spiritually. (Matt 5:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.).
I realized that every time I went to read Gods Word those creation verses glared me down and if the Bible is in fact inspired and I believe it, then these verses needed to be cohesive along with the rest of His Word and to my brains interpretation or my reality, otherwise I am simply wrong.
So, if I am going to believe Gods Word then I better believe ALL OF IT, even the uncomfortable things (those usually show a beautiful truth, I love it).
Now I start with the Bible and see if my reality matches and if not I need to find out why. (Either I am wrong with interpretation or the world has presented me a false reality). This obviously includes the creation accounts because Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
This is why I find learning about Gods Creation IS NOT a waste of time and choose not to just ignore the "hard" stuff.

This is a burden-of-proof reversal. No-one else needs to disprove your assertion. You need to prove it.
The assumption here is that God did not inspire the words written. REGARDLESS of the time written.
