Hmmmm... No one really knows..lol.. Maybe a symbol of how wise or respected that others here think you are? I don't know..I don't even know how or when I gathered 152 powers. lol
When you get to 50 posts, you'll get a power. After that, you make a pre-determined number of posts to get another power. Mine is currently 1000 posts.. When people rep you, you gain as many points as they have in powers. Sometimes that will bring you up by 2 or 3 powers. For every 100 rep points you get, you receive one power. As for the green bars, you start off with a little pea pod, and end up with a cucumber..lol

That would explain the mysterious junk food that magically appears on the staffroom table all the time. I guess we're just never in the staffroom at the same time.
50 posts, huh? That explains why "Rep power" for laughingheart remains at 0 instead of 1 now, after I gave her a rep. Was that rep wasted or will it kick in when she gets to 50 posts?
It's time for me to go grocery shopping. My wife hates grocery shopping, so I do it on my day off in exchange for her mowing the lawn. She loves mowing the lawn for some reason. lol

Grocery shopping is sooo much fun and I am so envious that you get to go grocery shopping and have the day off. I took Monday off and guess what happened? Finance decided to drop off a bucket of deals for me to go through and put the contracts together and yesterday one of the guys got back from a show and brought me about thirty more. Gotta love working in an accounting office and missing a day toward month end and I have one day to everything done, but thankfully that's not until next Monday lol
I have observed the same thing. I believe that once she reaches 50 posts 1 rep power will be awarded plus she will be credited with all accumulated rep points that will result in an additional rep power from your rep to her plus any other rep points awarded. It was not wasted.
