That CS Lewis quote was not directed at you, but Hillary. Hillary=busybody, Trump=Robber Baron.

I think many people round the world are questioning why both candidates managed to stagger their way to becoming Americas only choices. There is a third option and if I were American I would go for it. Stay at home on polling day then when everything falls to bits at least you will be feeling free of guilt if thats any consolation.

I can't figure it all out but I've thought over a few factors. The Republican party getting liberaller to appeal to more voters backfiring after Trump said things that resonated with the conservative voters they abandoned, the Republican party choosing unwinnable nominees for the last two rounds, and the Republican candidates not caring enough to actually stay in the race.
The big difference between myself and others who support trump and those who dispise him is that we listen the multitude of interviews and statements he has made going back to the 80's and make our own determination about what he said. The trump haters on the other hand listen to what others said he said and have their minds made up for them. It's really quite sad to see someone think they're thinking even though they're actually letting someone else think for them...but I suppose that is the reason why we are on the verge of chopping down the tree of Liberty.
