Good stuff. Thank you for sharing. Matthew, Chapter 5 comes to mind:

Anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell. -Jesus

you are welcome

I hurt alot of people who looked up to me

No one is judging you,you are saying you are a bisexual Christian. Im telling you the Bible, Gods Word says that is wrong. So Im not judging you,God's words are judging you. And no where did I say I was God nor claimed to be. Im slow to love? Well you don't know me. But you are awful quick to react in a nasty way when Scripture is brought up to prove what you are saying is wrong.
Noah was a drunken Christian.
David was a adulterous Christian.
Paul was a murdering Christian.

You told me I'm not a Christian.
I told you you're slow to listen and quick to speak.

Why add words to what I said?

Does attraction automatically equal desire?

I find ________ to be a very attractive person. This does not mean I desire or lust for that person.
You made this statement here-
My attraction to males is no more sinful than your attraction to females
Which strongly implies that you are claiming it is not wrong to find people of the same gender attractive.

And that depends on the context, seeing that the context of this thread is sexuality, then yes, I believe that sexual attraction leads to desire. Do you not believe its possible to deny those thoughts when they come into your head? Yes, I do get those kinda thoughts in my head, but instead of embracing them and making claims that "its a sin to be attracted to anyone therefore Im no more wrong than heterosexuals", I tell myself "ew no thats wrong and completely unnecessary".

The thought will come to your head, but you are in complete control over what you do with it.

If you are a follower of Christ who deals with these urges but denies them for Him, then I am happy. But you should think about how you speak to others. Claiming to be bi and proud does not help others come to Christ. Why not instead speak to people on a personal level, "yes I know your struggle, but I have been changed by the Lord"? I strongly believe that speaks volumes over "Im Christian and bi and proud".

No Noah wasn't a drunk Christian, David was not an adulterous Christian and Paul wasn't a murdering Christian.

Noah was found drunk,he wasn't a drunk. One time the Bible says that Noah was drunk.

David committed adultery once and said "my sin is ever before me". He repented, bitterly.

Paul was a Jew when he murdered Christians. It was when he came to Christ and repented after realizing what he had done. He was not a murdering Christian.

So the point is the same as I have said before,we fail as Christians but we do not continue to live a sinful lifestyle and none of these men did either. Committing a sin and failing is not the same as living in sin. If you are living in sin there was no need for Christ to die. We are to "come out of the world".

You added "proud". Again, Why do you add words to what I said?

Why are people on this thread trying to tell me how to communicate--how to represent myself?

It is possible for one to have the thought: "Wow, that guy/gal is really attractive!" And then, move on. Just because one might find men and women both equally attractive, does not mean that one dwells on these thoughts.

I feel like, since I made the statement "I am a bisexual Christian." some folks assumed waay too much from this small statement. This is what I mean by 'seeking understanding' before being quick to judge/speak. But, rather than accept this Biblical advise--you advise me to change the way I present myself.

15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. 1 Timothy 1:15-16

Does Romans, Chapter 7 lead you to believe that Paul no longer struggled with sin after his conversion?

Because you have made yourself look like someone who both engages in homosexual acts and calls themself a Christian. And even without the word "proud", it still implies the same message. You came and said "I am Christian and bi", you did not say any more than that, leaving us with just that sentence to work off of. Where is the testimony of change? In what way does that imply He has changed your life? It doesnt, all it says is that you claim to be a follower of Christ and are bisexual, tell anyone that you are bisexual and they are going to automatically assume you are saying you engage in such acts.

And in a sexual way? Jesus tells us that even the thought counts as committing the sin. I agree that I can think a male looks good, but I dont look at him sexually, no. And that is the topic of the thread.

The problem being you didnt say anything about this, just that you were bisexual, and you even went off arguing in defense of being bisexual.

It is quite obvious. I'm saying nothing further on this topic of whether or not Kaylagrl said I am not a Christian.

If you cannot change your tone with me, I have no desire to converse with you.

Being a Christian means accepting His teachings, and making a claim of bisexuality means you do not follow His teachings. I dont see the problem here : p

You said he was a murderer, A Christian murderer. That was your defense. I was clear that failing and continuing to live a sinful lifestyle are two different things. Please READ what I have said.

It's actually HugLife's clone....ThugLife....lol ;) who made the post....
Well, however you guys make it work for you. I just found it interesting that two former "males" posting on a thread about homosexuality have adopted a teenage female's avatar. LOL

I really don't care what others think of me. People make assumptions all the time. Assumptions are often wrong, as you recently demonstrated by pointing out an assumption I made.

What's the difference between being attracted to someone, and being sexually attracted to someone?

Well then you still do not understand my initial statement in this thread. If you'd like to, go back to my initial sentence and re-interpret with correct understanding. If you don't want to, then don't. :)

How audacious, for one to expect the other to understand, when one refuses to understand the other in the first place.
