Wow awesome grace I'm like 5 min away for San Clemente it is really nice over here! Why would you want tom leave beautiful Cali? I know living is kinda expensive but well worth it.
We are tired of the crowds, the traffic, the attitudes, the politics, the constant heat... Besides, Cali is headed for a monumental catastrophe. Even tho the state is gridlocked and out of resources, they still keep adding hundreds of new dwelling units everywhere you look. As soon as Lake Mead goes dry, and it will sooner than people care to believe, property values will tank to nothing as people attempt to leave the barren desert that Cali actually is. The town we are moving to, you have to drive 30 miles in any direction to find a traffic light. A traffic jam is 2 cars ahead of you at the stop sign. People wait for you to pass even if they have time and space to pull in ahead of you, and they wave all 5 fingers not just the one. At rush hour you have to slow all the way down to the speed limit. Neighbors we never even met helped us unload a truck full of stuff - as opposed to the neighbors in Cali who grouched at us to move the truck because it was encroaching their driveway (and no they were not going anywhere).
Our new home has actual weather and seasons - fall is absolutely gorgeous with color, as opposed to the many shades of brown we have in Cali. I was born in Cali, raised in Cali, and like most of us actual long-term natives cannot wait to get out of it because it is no longer the golden state we used to love.

Ricky I hope Jesus comes back for me before all this happens. I have been in Cali all my life and well as far as all you said you are right about all of it. Let's just pray for all those still here like me.

Sounds like where I live, right down to neighbors helping you move. But how did you move in without us seeing you? I would have left you a loaf of sourdough bread to welcome you to the neighborhood.

Yeah now that's probably sad - I heard of Graceland and I live about an hour east of Memphis but I never knew Graceland was in Memphis. But I never was a fan of Elvis anyway.
