If both of you stand for God why continue the harassment? If one is concerned of the religious motives of a fellow believer then there accusations must be brought up with a group of top church leaders. Obviously through the internet y'all cannot do this. Any new believers to this site should see respect and love. Respect for opinions. It's okay to debate true and false but do it respectfully.

I don't want paphtor Phsteven to look bad...or to fail...nor do I think him beneath me. It was paphtor Phsteven who embarked us on this one up one down relationship. Im not okay with that.

You know what's wrong with you? You dish it out, but you can't take it. You don't even recognize your own character when someone throws it back in your face.
As a pastor you are to be above reproach. You are called to be holy; a guiding light for others to see, setting examples of Christian virtues and good will towards all, but alas, you act the fool, openly insulting someone for personal satisfaction. Good job sinking to a level you've been ordained not to enter.

Either way, brother be at peace with heart and mind and promote peace with all. Politics is ugly and can be a devil's trap to promote unpure behavior. Trust me I get compassionate about my country and the future for my country and I got to think about and watch every word I say.
[h=1]James 1:19Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h]19 My dearly loved brothers, understand this: Everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger,20 for man’s anger does not accomplish God’s righteousness.

I hate to correct others actions when I myself am not perfect but we Christians are told to rebuke each other with patience and respect.

I respect your pastorship and you being an elder to me so I say what I say with caution and respect.

I appreciate your very kind response to my post. And what you say is true. I realize it's easy to think someone is all wound up. I'm really not in this case. The things I've been thru with unhealthy people has uniquely prepared me to confront the kind of unhealthy religious attitudes that come up in this forum as well as the damage they can do to people weak in their faith. It's my gift and my calling to stand alongside my brothers and sisters coming along behind me and defend them from religious piety. I like the way Jesus did it...I try to emulate that.

No big deal I was not exactly directing it to just you but to any that may needed reminding.

2 Timothy 2:23-26Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

23 But reject foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they breed quarrels. 24 The Lord’s slave must not quarrel, but must be gentle to everyone, able to teach,[a] and patient, 25 instructing his opponents with gentleness. Perhaps God will grant them repentance leading them to the knowledge of the truth. 26 Then they may come to their senses and escape the Devil’s trap, having been captured by him to do his will.

I really don't appreciate you talking about my dad that way. He is dead. He wasn't a perfect man but he was a really nice man and would even give a Hillary internet troll like yourself the shirt off his back if you were in need.

Lemme get this straight..... I'm sinking to a low level for imitating Sirk, but Sirk is doing good because he's emulating Jesus?

I've heard many of a crock of bull in my day, but this double standard takes the cake.

You do a really poor imitation of me. You should stick to being a self righteous Pharisee. You're way better at that.

i forgot that casually referencing passages from books you haven't read isn't fair to you...

john 8:44..."You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies."
