ok, so the froward kind jump in.
maybe someone could leave a book about Holy Days under your tree on Dec25.
In my opinion, Messiah has shown us a fulfillment of the Spring Feasts: Passover/Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Pentecost.
I wonder what it will be like when He returns to fulfill the Fall Feasts: Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles.
Could be a worthwhile study if you have never done it.
I could be wrong, of course.
Has Christ not shown us atonement and tabernacles? Have we not seen hints and foreshadowing of trumpets?
What about the blood of the lamb where Jesus is the lamb of God as atonement?
What about Jesus being born during tabernacles? Is tabor a mountain and NaCl not salt - a mountain of salt?
What about the trumpet of war? Have we not seen the destruction of the temple and all of Israel laid to siege? Have we not seen wars and rumors of wars and but a few generations shy of 1000 years of "Crusades"?
Yes, the feasts as well as the secular Holidays are a good study. The scripture simply observes that many things become traditions of man when the deeper meaning and purpose are replaced with ritual zombi-ism. Religion becomes churchianity and lost it's meaning. Ditto the feasts or ritual circumcision. These acts are "the works of the law" spoken of as not in and of themselves able to save and indeed when zombi-fied become an offense.
