Most of this doctrine I am reading is from the WOF and from the book of "Purpose Driven Life". Beware Christian follower of Christ, whenever someone gives you steps how to live for God, it is "LAW". God's prescribed order of victory is "The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus - Romans 8:1-2. Which means having Faith exclusively in Christ and His Finished Work, i.e., The Cross, i.e., The Blood of Jesus. This allows the Holy Spirit the legal means to produce the fruit of the spirit and help us in every capacity of life. This is done by believing and trusting Christ. The Just shall live by faith only!

Satan is stronger than any man's or woman will power!

The Way Of The Spirit
Focus: The Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6)
Object Of Faith: The Cross of Christ (Romans 6:1-14)
Power Source: The Holy Spirit (Romans 8:1-2, 11)
Results: Victory (Romans 6:14)

Man's Way
Focus: Works.
Object Of Faith: Performance.
Power Source: Self.
Results: Defeat!

The only way to God is through Jesus Christ (John 14:6)...the only way to Jesus Christ is by the Means of the Cross (Luke 14:27). The only way to the Cross is a denial of self (Luke 9:23). If any person tries to come any other way, Jesus says, "they are a thief and a robber" (John 10:1).

1. Jesus Christ is the source of all blessings.
2. The Cross is the means by which all blessings are given.
3. The object of our faith must be Christ and the Cross.
4. That being done, the Holy Spirit will greatly help us.

Jesus says, "YOU CAN NOT DO NOTHING WTHOUT HIM"

The Law Of The Spirit Of Life In Christ Jesus is the will of God's only prescribe order of victory for every born again Believer. It simply means that the Believer must maintain Faith exclusively in Christ and the Cross, i.e., Finished Work.

The Holy Spirit works exclusively within the legal confines of the Finished Work, i.e., "the Cross," guarantees the help of the Holy Spirit, which guarantees Victory.

If the Believers doesn't understand or attempts to live for God by any manner other than Faith in Christ and the Cross, he is doomed to failure. This places the Believer in the law of sin and death which is sin. For whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

The Law Of The Spirit Of Life In Christ Jesus gives the Believer victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil.

Victory over the world: Galatians 6:14 ; 1 John 5:4
Victory over the flesh: Galatians 5:24
Victory over the devil: Hebrews 2:14 ; Colossians 2:15

God only awards imputed righteousness by maintaining faith exclusively in Christ and his finished work (Romans 4:5). God only recognize the blood of Jesus on the door post of our hearts. That Believer is now under the strongest law in the universe, " The Law Of The Spirit Of Life In Christ Jesus (Romans 8:2)." This law is stronger than "The Law Of Sin And Death (Romans 8:1-2)." So when you do miss the mark and sin, you still have imputed righteousness. Which means: There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Sin has no dominion over you. (The Believer must confess their sins 1 John 1:9)

If we as Believers do not understand these two Laws, then the "law of sin and death" will wreak its havoc on us.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Romans 5:1 ; Hebrews 10:38 ; Hab. 2:4 NLT

Two kinds of peace

1. Justifying Peace - This is Peace with God, a legal standing. Rom. 8:7; Eph. 2:14-15
2. Sanctifying Peace - This is the Peace of God in the heart. Rom. 8:6; 14:19; 15:13; Gal. 1:3

The first is the result of a legal standing. The second is the result of the Work of the Holy Spirit. The first is static, never fluctuates, the second changes almost from hour to hour. The first, every Christian has, the second, every Christian may have.

Do you have anything to add to the OP other than the Pentecostal religion? The thread is about "Ten Ways to Fall for the "Saved by Grace, Perfected by the Flesh" Trap!" Thank you.

The priority of the Kingdom is imperative. You lose that perspective, no wonder you're running into things, tripping over things, falling over things, because that which is light is now dark and you can't see.

wow...........................
So tell me which one is really the Word of Faith preacher?

Rick Warren is a Baptist Preacher and denounces the Word of Faith Message....Warren was also educated in Baptists universities...

Kenneth Copeland is a disciple of Kenneth Hagin, the Father of the WOF movement...

It is better to remain silent and thought a fool, then open you mouth and remove all doubt...

The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus means to maintain Faith in Christ and His Finished Work...daily. Are you telling us not to depend on, trust in, and have Faith in Christ and His Finished Work daily?

You seem confused . You are not writing on the full truth of the matter.
Evidently, you havent grown in your wisdom from a few years ago but it appears that you have in fact perverted the truth!! Many people are "FANS OF JESUS" and not true "FOLLOWERS OF JESUS!" If there is NOT FRUIT evidence(identified by judging righteously) ,of OBEDIENCE then one must EXAMINE themselves to see that they are IN THE FAITH.We are instructed to DIE . That means we buffet all that is not resembling a Christ centered LIFE. We obey because we are CONTENDING FOR THE FAITH not because we are earning our salvation. Many many today have listened to the watered down grace message your put forth and they probably are NOT saved! FEW are saved;not many.

Are you a fan or follower?
Take Up Your Cross

Mark 8:34-35 (NIV) Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it."
Bible Knowledge Commentary: "When the Roman Empire crucified a criminal or captive, the victim was often forced to carry his cross part of the way to the crucifixion site, carrying his cross through the heart of the city."
Luke 9:23-24 Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it."
NIV Study Notes: "The picture is of a man, already condemned, required to carry the beam of his own cross to the place of execution. Disciples from Galilee knew what this meant, for hundreds of men had been executed by this means in their region."
Mat 10:38 ... anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of m

With all respect, I think this post is just a mess. Can anyone present ALL the truth in one post?? Also, you have not addressed a single point in the op. He was talking about ways to possibly help one avoid the mistake of the foolish Galatians. I became a foolish Galatian for a lot of years. No one told me that sanctification was ALSO by faith in Him alone, so I went through a violent and depressing repeating cycle for many years that accomplished nothing but agony for me.

It is nice to meet you and I am hoping to get to know you. You don't have to come into a thread with fists swinging.

I had a thought when I read where you said one must righteously judge whether they are bearing fruit or not. That would not have been possible for me a while back because I thought I was very humble and meek when I was no such thing. I thought I was a walking, talking, dazzling display of the fruits of the Spirit. But another thing you said I would have found very possible - where you said to examine if I really WAS in faith. It was almost one of the first things He began to show me, that I said I was trusting and fully surrendered to His will but I was not. My first long lesson from the Spirit was over worry over money. When I got pretty good at not worrying over money, He showed me I had to stop worrying about my spiritual provision and growth too. In fact, worry over anything was what He was highlighting. I could even worry ABOUT my worrying then!

Anyway, it's nice to meet you!

T0 DIE is FINAL. We cease to be as we once were. WE die because we are following Christ and not because we are vying to be saved. You fail to make that distinction. Many fans of Jesus think like you do. They are NOT saved

On that note, how many dead people go 'round dragging crosses with them?

Let that sink in for a bit.

Falling from grace means to me to go back to the law for living. It means to depend on our own good efforts ( even good ones ) other than Christ's finished work.

This doesn't mean that they are not saved as in NOT going to be with the Lord when they die. It just means that they will not experience the salvation available to them in this world. We are sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption.

Galatians 5:4 (NASB)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

The greek word "severed" means to "make idle or useless".
So a Believer can live without Faith and go to heaven...got it!
How on earth did you get what you wrote out out of what Grace777x70 wrote???

Please define what you mean by hyper grace.

Its a label thats been thrown around and around .. one group thinks it means something .. the group being accused of it are often NOT what is being meant by hyper grace.

What is this thing you are saying?

Do you mean their is no consequence for sin for hyper grace teachers?

If this is what you mean.. neither grace777 nor eternallygrateful teach this as far as I have seen by their posts.

What do you mean by hyper grace?

I came across this teaching in my journal
Summary teaching, God does everything we do nothing, but here is a list of all the things
we can screw up, but we cannot screw up because we are OSAS.

This is why the whole position is hypocritical.
In grace you cannot sin, because grace will stop sin. Only problem is you cannot use law
or the bible to define the sin, because that is legalism so all you have left is emotionalism.
Bit of a bad choice, because your emotions change like the wind, and what one day was
terrible is ok today.

So in this mirage of faith, you can both be ruled by Gods morality, but not allowed to
read it in case you feel condemnation.

The only key to this problem is "love". And Jesus is the ultimate expression of this love.
So if they cannot preach this, and in their model explain it, they are not following Christ
but creating an alternative faith.
