Extrovert, introvert or an ambivert.

Extrovert +introvert = ambivert.

I'm an ambivert.... I can be withdrawn, a lone wolf and I can also be outgoing and sociable, when I must.

I have no idea what any of those things are but mainly I have a very outgoing warm personality I can start a conversation with a complete stranger and make a friend at the end of it but at home it's kind of a gloomy environment and I am the only Christian so often times I reside in my room lol

I don't know what these words mean as I have never heard of them but I would guess intorvert is one who keeps to themselves?

Hmmmmmmmmm this is a good question. I'm more outgoing with people who are close to me but with people whom I don't know I'm more reserved. I prefer a few good friends then a whole crowd of friends. I also love to be to myself. Oh shoot, I'm not sure what I am. LOL :D

Extrovert. Completely. No denying it. I am capable of enjoying time alone but I don't need it. I love people. People make me happy. Sadly, introverts usually make me happiest of all and they need alone time..

I am a secrevert (yes, I just made that up). I'm so quiet and introverted that some might wonder if I'm a ghost. I don't want anyone to know where I am, what I'm doing or how to reach me... and I keep everything to myself (except online of course, where i want to be everyone's friend!)

I've always been very outgoing and social. I do enjoy doing things on my own as well, but I'm definitely an extrovert.

Introverts (or those of us with introverted tendencies) tend to recharge by spending time alone. They lose energy from being around people for long periods of time, particularly large crowds.

Extroverts, on the other hand, gain energy from other people.

Extroverts actually find their energy is sapped when they spend too much time alone. They recharge by being social.

I was just going to type, I'm more ougoing to a degree(lol) online than I am in person. I don't warm up to people so easily. I'm not mean just standoffish. People think that I am mean or stuck up but I'm not. I just don't trust easily. God is still working on me.... pray for me. :D

Yes, I'm very aware of this. That's why it's sad I enjoy introverts so much. Haha. My son is an introvert. He is a competitive swimmer and it makes so much sense for him. It's his recharge time while he trains. Completely quiet, no one around...it's heaven for him.

Ambiverts exhibit both extroverted and introverted tendencies. This means that they generally enjoy being around people, but after a long time this will start to drain them. Similarly, they enjoy solitude and quiet, but not for too long. Ambiverts recharge their energy levels with a mixture of social interaction and alone time.

I would get into my usual explanation about the term introvert once again, but between the election stuff and a few other things I've had to deal with lately... I'm gonna just let it go..

I've got a soft spot for shy people lol
I used to defend them in school even though I was being bullied too.....For defending them. It used to really rile me up that the bullies always targeted the quiet ones.....Wait, it still does lol

Nothing wrong with being an introvert, an Extrovert or a the in between-er like me, an ambivert....apparently, no one is 100% introvert or extrovert.
In my case, I'm about 50/50...It All depends on what's happening around me.... I am very, mutable? Flexible? Yes, physically too hahaha

The introverts win, because... so many of them have not and will not respond to this thread. ;)
