I got that feeling when I was visiting my sister at the hospital and I popped down to the cafeteria for a snack. They were serving lasagna... I got the impression they were trying to drum up business for their new cardiac wing. "Here, enjoy it. See you soon!"

The camper door keeps shocking me... Every time I touch it on the metal lining around the door. It doesn't hurt, but it is uncomfortable. I don't know why it started doing it, either. It wasn't doing it this summer. It only started when it got cold.

I make a seriously yummy lasagna.

Also, I cut 3 slices of my homemade bread and made pizza for my lunch today.

(Not my photo but similar to what I made.) It was awesome. ;)

For some reason cold weather causes static.

Lower air humidity. Cold air holds less moisture. And indoor air in winter (which is warmer than the outdoor cold air, but still doesn't have any moisture to speak of) is REALLY dry. That's why it's so hard to shock someone in the summer and so easy in the winter.

Get a humidifier. If your inside air has moisture you can turn the thermostat down to 60 and it will feel warm. It's what my mother does all winter. And you won't get zapped all the time.

That happens because of dry air (very low humidity). I hate it too. It used to happen to me everytime at the store whenever I touch the screen at the self-checkout. Now I use my knuckle instead of the tip of my finger. Its a lot less shocking when its not on the tip of your finger.

One thing you can do is pull the end of your sleeve over your hand before you grab the door (like u have a glove on) or use two fists to turn the knob lol.

Speaking of food, tomorrow night were having long john silvers for dinner.

I actually had my heart set on Chinese food though : (

Youd think being the person who will pay for it would mean its my choice, but nope : (

Oh well, we can have Chinese food next week : p
(hopefully)

Gilligans Island was on. It's an old American TV show, Google it. I overheard my Son asking my Husband questions about it, who's Gillian? Why are they stuck there? What happened? Then I heard my Husband sing the theme song to him to try to explain, I couldn't help but laugh.
