The same place Matthew Mark Luke and John got their words.... Holy men of God spake as they were moved by the spirit. How else can you have the word of God if God doesn't give the words?

Well, the way I understand it.... God gave the words to the original writers... you know, Matthew, Mark, etc....

These words have been preserved in several ways since they were first put to papyrus... our "translations" have ALL come from the conversion of those Greek words to another language by people who are educated enough to DO that.

You seem to be saying that the men that translated the KJV just wrote it down, purely from words that they "received" from God in their minds??

This sort of goes against what the men themselves said, when they gave references of the original Greek texts they used to do their "translation", doesn't it?

Look... it's a TRANSLATION, done by men, and guided by the Spirit, we assume.

Just like the other, more recent translations are.

And, how do you know that there wasn't a closet homosexual in the group of men that translated the KJV?

Since when has "being a sinner" kept someone from having knowledge and ability?

Your legalism is showing.... again.

I believe God's word is in all languages too and I do agree that translating to modern English doesn't corrupt it. But a bible that says Jesus had an origin is flat out wrong. Why would you support a work that you know is wrong?

really?

then why did you say that you believe that ALL other translations are inspired by the devil?

let me refresh your memory:

you are speaking out of both sides of your mouth and cannot catch up on your own apologies

Are you saying that once a person is saved, they have no need to read and study Scripture because the Holy Spirit will teach them all things they need to know?

all of these frivolous questions remind me of Charles Durning as the governor in "Best Little W---house in Texas"...

"Ooooooooooh..... I love to dance a little side-step".......

Logical fallacy circular reasoning - The KJV is wrong because the interlinear says something different.

Who raised Jesus from the dead? Jesus was God he didn't need someone else to raise himself up, he rose himself.

Hmmmm No...Romans 8.11 completely refutes you

Romans 8.11 in the KJV says:

[SUP]11[/SUP]But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

So now we know you don't have a clue about the very translation you promote.....

Holy Spirit
You would have to agree that the "Holy Spirit" is all over the place in doctrine. Of course I'm not talking about the real Holy Spirit I'm talking about the spirit that leads some to believe that barking like a dog and rolling in the floor laughing uncontrollably means that they're full of the spirit. How do you know if the spirit leading you is the Holy Spirit or some other spirit?

I agree. Also I have read the other translations (NIV NASB) and they have a different theme than the KJV. The straw that broke the camels back for me was referring to Jesus as a son of the gods and Jesus having a beginning.

Please show us the book, chapter and verses you state were in error.....

Unfortunately folks like to remain obstinate.
I knew he didn't know from my first few interactions bc he couldn't keep his own posts in order and following the previous.. God is not and will not be completely known by anyone. It's against ourselves to think we have perfect knowledge

The spirit of Christ raised Christ. If that spirit dwells in you then he will also quicken you. Jesus is God, he raised himself. If not then what spirit raised him?

The KJV is the only truth I've ever seen. I can't lie and say the NIV is the pure inerrant word of God when the NIV has Jesus having an origin. What I don't get is why that doesn't bother you. The NIV preaches another Jesus and you have no problem with that? Why would you put a translation like that on level with or above a translation that gets it right?

Where does the NIV say Jesus has an origin at? Book, chapter, verse, please

That is not what the KJV says though now is it? Who is Paul referring to in the first 10 vereses?

The Holy Spirit raised Jesus Christ back to life...If Jesus raised himself it would have violated Levitical Law...

The Spirit that quickens you is the Holy Spirit...

Micah 5:2 and Daniel 3:25 in the NIV.

[h=1]Micah 5:2New International Version (NIV)[/h] [SUP]2 [/SUP]“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah,
out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
from ancient times.”

[h=1]Micah 5:2King James Version (KJV)[/h] [SUP]2 [/SUP]But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

What is your beef here?

...I mean it's absurd to think that a group of men and a homosexual woman in the case of th NIV could perfectly translate God's word. ...

The "homosexual woman" to whom you refer was not part of the translation team; her involvement was limited to external consultation on a few matters of prosaic style. Go and do your homework properly, by consulting sources from outside the KJVO camp. Your lack of integrity surprises me; sadly, your lack of scholarship does not.

I think it was God the Father ( maybe through the Holy Spirit ) who raised Jesus from the dead and He used Jesus' own blood to do it. I don't think it is possible for us with these finite brains to figure out the intricacies of the God-head.

Hebrews 13:20 (NASB)
[SUP]20 [/SUP]
Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord,
