God's Word tells us in Psalms to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and this I do every day, because I believe God when he tells us to do something: though this sounds simplistic, yet it is our duty, just as is with God, that not even the lowliest sparrow is forgotten before Him.

ST. LUKE 21:24 They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive among all nations,

and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Jeremiah 33:5 says God has hid His face from Jerusalem.
But God also says in Zechariah 1:17 that He “shall yet choose Jerusalem.”
When He does, He is going to make this city the capital of the world .

Israelis today face the greatest threat to their existence—“nuclear weapons
in the hands of apocalyptic mullahs publicly pledged to Israel’s annihilation

Zechariah 12:3 says, “[A]ll that burden themselves with [Jerusalem] shall be
cut in pieces.” God says anyone who takes on the responsibility to control
His city that He will yet choose is going to be “cut in pieces”!

“Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in
the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle;
and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished;
and half of the city shall go forth into captivity” (Zechariah 14:1-2).

That’s the same half that the Arabs had until 1967, when the Jews conquered it.
It is still inhabited mostly by Arabs. The Bible prophesied not only that the Jews
would take East Jerusalem, but also that the Arabs are about to take it back.

After half of Jerusalem falls to the Arabs, it will be like dominoes falling
one after the other: one biblically prophesied event after another.

Matthew 24:15-16 also prophesy about Jerusalem’s immediate future:

“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of
by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place [Jerusalem], (whoso readeth,
let him understand Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains.”

The Bible defines that “abomination of desolation”
as armies surrounding Jerusalem (Luke 21:20-22).

The passage in Lk 21:20-24, has already happened.

The times of the gentiles is over, 70 ad - 1967, Israel is restored to Jerusalem.

There is no place to "flee" this time.

---------

WE are at the end of Rev, now,

Where Magog surrounds the Holy city and the camp of the saints.

Can't you see that Israel is being surrounded by Magog and the Kings of the East (Iran and it's allies)?

There is not going to be another"Times of the gentiles".

You can see what is happening now to Israel,

They are surrounded!

-----

The world is now moving in for the kill.

Why won't the USA help Israel?

Military, politics, economics, a combination of these?

Can the USA win a military conflict in the Middle East against Russia, Iran, Syria, Gaza, the West bank, Egypt, and many others without the support of Nato (Europe)?

No

The posts on here show that indeed everyone will come against Jerusalem. Why do so many Christians hate Jews to the point of embracing replacement theology?

If you hate (NO love/love less) anybody, that is not the Holy Spirit of Jesus' love.

--

Why would a Christian have no love for his Israelite brethren?

A possibility?

RCC, when the RCC says that it is the only true church, (Beast - 8th head, Caesar, Iron Legs, 4th beast Dan. 7, nations)

The Bishop of Rome is saying that they are the only true Israel,

And that the natural branches are not.

Think of what it was like from 70 ad until 1967, to be of the natural branches, (and the true wild also),

to live under the power of Rome, death, murder, hatred, for all who did not bow down the the one called Caesar/the holy father.

Teaching that it was all the "Jews" fault and that they murdered Jesus.

(Jesus Gave up His life for my sins and for the sins of all of the human souls.)

They were blamed for just about everything I think.

And it continues to this day.

But it is coming to an end, R 11:7-15, R 20:7-9.

that would conflict with this still future bible verse
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying,

The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord,
and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
Think about this verse,

Doesn't it mean that the eternal kingdom of Christ has begun and that this world/planet is over?

This is the stone of Dan. ch 2 striking the statue of the nations.

After this, the new heavens and earth, eternity.

Theres an Attack going on over Jerusalems capital

From the United Nations to the White House, people and institutions all over the planet
are hostile to Israel, to Jerusalem, and to the Jews historic connection to Jerusalem.

The war on the Jewishness of Jerusalem is intensifying and the UN and others are
trying to sever Israel’s ties to the holy city.

a little back history

On 29 November 1947, the United Nations General Assembly recommended
the adoption and implementation of the partition plan of Mandatory Palestine.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council

On 14 May 1948, David Ben-Gurion, the Executive Head of the World Zionist
Organization and president of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, declared "the
establishment of a Jewish state in Eretz Israel, to be known as the State of Israel,"
a state independent upon the termination of the British Mandate for Palestine,

on 15 May 1948.Neighboring Arab armies invaded Palestine on the next day
and fought the Israeli forces. Israel has since fought several wars with neighboring
Arab states,in the course of which it has occupied the West Bank, Sinai Peninsula
(between 1967 and 1982), part of South Lebanon (between 1982 and 2000),
Gaza Strip and the Golan Heights.

It annexed portions of these territories, including East Jerusalem,
but the border with the West Bank is disputed.Israel has signed peace treaties with
Egypt and Jordan, but efforts to resolve the Israeli–Palestinian conflict have so far
not resulted in peace.

the Israeli-Arab peace process. The Jews gave up land for a piece of paper
The United States and Britain were both instrumental in pressuring Judah

Now the United States and Britain have both turned there backs on Jerusalem.

The Jews have also given Gaza, Jericho, Bethlehem and other West Bank
areas back to the Palestinians. those areas were won in a war where the Arabs
were trying to annihilate the Jews

In 2005, Israel evacuated the 9,000 Jewish residents of the Gaza Strip and
turned the area completely over to the Palestinians. There has been conflict
over jerusalam ever since, there has never been true piece in its history

-
the legal and diplomatic status of Jerusalem

There is significant disagreement in the international community on the legal
and diplomatic status of Jerusalem
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Positions_on_Jerusalem

Jerusalem is one of the key issues in the Israeli–Palestinian peace process.
Both Israelis and the Palestinians want it as their capital.[5]

The European Union has stated that Jerusalem's status is that of corpus separatum.[6][7]

The United Nations considers East Jerusalem to be occupied Palestinian territory.[24][25]
It envisions Jerusalem eventually becoming the capital of two states, Israel and Palestine.[26]

-

also throw in the mix is the Vaticans claims to the Holy land.

Israel expressed disappointment Wednesday at the Vatican’s announcement that
it reached the outline of an agreement with the Palestinians and at the Holy See’s
use of the term “State of Palestine” for the first time in an official document.
Israel 'disappointed' Vatican reached agreement recognizing Palestinian state - Arab-Israeli Conflict - Jerusalem Post

In December 2009, for example, Twal and other high-ranking Catholic officials released an overtly anti-Israel, anti-Jewish document detailing the “injustices” against Palestinians by Israel. In it, the Catholic officials implored the international community to “stand by the Palestinian people who have faced oppression, displacement, suffering and clear apartheid for more than six decades.” There was no recognition of the multiple suicide attacks on innocent Jews, or the thousands of missiles launched at Israeli schools, homes and hospitals.

-

If you know your history, such effusive support of the Palestinian cause—to the point
of ceding Jerusalem to be the capital of a Palestinian nation—is more than a little odd.

Pope Urban ii, the man who set off the Crusades in the Middle Ages

Inspired by Urban’s call to arms and intent on earning “salvation,” tens of thousands of Europeans set out for Jerusalem. In the First Crusade alone, Catholic crusaders slaughtered some 70,000 Jews and Arabs in pursuit of their goal to pry Jerusalem from the “infidel.” The First Crusade was followed a few decades later by another, then another, then another—each an attempt to purge the Holy Land of Muslims.

History is clear. The Vatican has never supported Muslim control of Jerusalem!

So why is it doing so now?

Jerusalem is as important to the Vatican as it is to Jews and Muslims. For Catholics,
Jerusalem is the birthplace of Christianity and the setting of many important biblical
events. The Holy City, as Catholic dogma states, is its universal headquarters.

Does anyone really think the Vatican is genuinely interested in ceding control
of these sites to Muslims? It’s important to keep an eye on Jerusalem,
and especially on the Vatican’s involvement in the city

-

The Jews had to get there capital back for this end time event to happen,

I totally agree and are very interested in this observation with the Vatican.

You see that Rome is just the "image" of it's former self,

And will speak the words that deceive the Kings of the East (Iran and it's allies) into attacking Israel, R 9:14, R 16:12-16,

Because they have no physical army.

In my opinion, the words spoken will be something like, Israel is not God's people,

Yes?

For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken,
and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and( half of the city) shall go forth
into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Already happened in 70 ad, this time there will be no Israel left.

No one hates (holding back the blessing of God) in respect to the outward Jew anymore than a outward gentile .I would offer not replacement theology but reformed theology... restoring the government of God on earth to another time period when there was no outward representation .Before the unbelieving Jews (no faith coming from the scriptures) refused to worship God as King of kings , Lord of lords reigning over them by faith. This is when they gathered themselves together because of their carnal jealously of the surrounding Pagan nations. The refomation restored... not replaced. They have the same corrupted flesh today as any nation. He sent them a strong delusion to believe the lie for a temporal period of time. .

Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah, And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD. And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.Sa 8:4

Mark 14:25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

Below He said to both the outward Jew and the Gentile. He does not speak in a vacuum to one nation as if He was the Father of one nation. His name Abraham as the bosom, the invisible presence of God speaks to the Father of many.

John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Earthly Jerusalem has no further place in the promises of God. It ceased when Jerusalem was overthrown. In Gal 4.20 ff it was replaced by the heavenly Jerusalem which is 'the mother of us all' (see also Heb 12,22 where the heavenly Jerusalem is called the city of the living God). Why do so many so called Christians hate their fellow Christians so much by denying them this privilege.?

The word teaches us that the believing Jews who followed Christ were the true Israel. The remaining Jews were cast off (Rom 11.12-24). The believing Jews were the believing remnant, and God incorporated into them Gentile proselytes as Israel had always done (Rom 11.12-24). They henceforth formed the true Israel. As Eph 2.11-22 says, they 'became fellow-citizens with the saints and members of the household of God'. Compare also 1.Peter 2.9. This is not hatred of the Jews, but standard New Testament teaching.

The only hope for a future Israel is that it becomes converted to Christ, joining with present believers in the household of God. The congregation of Israel is now the church of Jesus Christ. To deny this is to deny the New Testament.

It is clear to see that the Jews are being gathered back to the genuine nation of Israel, back to their promised lands. The Babylon punishment was extended 7 times by God when Jews failed to return home, that ended at start of the 20th Century, Jews then regained nation.

The Jews are being brought back for judgement through the Anti-Christ. The final last attempt for Jews to accept Christ, many will not and will perish.

Christ will return just as the world is about to commit genocide on the Jews and will fight the Anti-christ, then we will see a thousand year rule from His throne in Jerusalem.

This spiritual nonsense is ridiculous. When Christ rules the earth there will be no sin, do we live in a sin free world today, that is all men? NO! Christ has not returned yet, unless you follow crackpot theology that is replacement theology, which in my view is just as delusional as following King James Onlyism.

Hello OneFaith,

God is not done with literal Israel, as there are still prophesies that are yet to be fulfilled, namely that last seven years of the decree of seventy sevens. In Rev.12, Israel is symbolized as "the woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and wearing a crown of twelve stars. According to Jacob in Gen.37:9-10, the sun is symbolic for himself, the moon his wives and the eleven stars are eleven of the twelve tribes, with Joseph being the twelvth. The woman gives birth to the male child, which is a collective name for the 144,000 that come out of the twelve tribes of Israel. At the middle of that last seven years, the abomination will be set up, which will cause the woman to flee out into the desert, where she will be cared for by God for 1260 days, which is that last 3 1/2 years of the seven year period, also known as the great tribulation.

It is important to understand that Israel and the church are two separate entities. When the Anointed One/Messiah was cut off/crucified, God paused that last seven years with Israel and began to build his church, which is still in process. Once the church has been completed, then the Lord will appear and gather the church ending the church period. Following that God will pick up where he left off with that last seven years, which will be initiated by that ruler/antichrist establishing his seven year covenant, fulfilling that last seven years, with Jesus returning sometime after the end of that seven to end the age and establish his millennial kingdom.
I was waiting for ya big bro

Romans 9:6-8, "However, it is not as though YHWH's plan had failed. For it is not everyone who is a descendant of Israyl who belongs to Israyl. Nor, just because they are his descendants, are they all Abraham's children; but: In Isaac will your seed be called. That is, it is not those who are the children of the flesh who are YHWH's children; but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham's seed."

Psalm 105:6-9, "O seed of Abraham His servant, You children of Yaaqob, His chosen ones! He is YHWH our Father! His judgments are in all the earth. He has remembered His covenant forever, the Law He commanded for a thousand generations; Which He made; ratified, established, with Abraham, and vowed by His oath to Isaac. He confirmed it; let it stand, to Yaaqob for a Law, and to Israyl for an everlasting covenant."

Galations 3:28,29, "Is there not the Yahdai as well as the Greek; Gentile? Is there not the slave as well as the freeman? Is there not the male and the female? For all of you must be in unity in Yahshua Messiah. And if you are in Messiah, then you are a seed of Abraham, heirs according to the promise."

In the passage of Lk 21:20-24,

The gentiles trample Jerusalem until the times of the gentiles is fulfilled v 24.

---

Notice that it does not refer to the temple, but only the city.

When Israel controls the city, then the ToG's is ended.

---

Does the military of Israel control Jerusalem and the Temple MT.?

Yes. No other countries (gentiles) have any authority, as in military forces, over any part of the city.

Physical Jerusalem are no longer God's people. They are just like any other nation in the world today. God's people are no longer so by physical means (a husband's will) but are born of God spiritually. (John chapter one)

would you like to state that again in plain ENGLISH??//

Israel, the Jewish people are ARE God's people and will be taken care of when the Church is gone.

The are Jews and Gentiles who believe in Jesus Christ and they are one, the elect.\

Judism is a Talmudic sect of the Jewish nation. God during the tribulations and GT...will bring what is left of them into the fold. They to will be the elect. Not two,,,only ONE.
