we have legal standards of life for those outside the womb that demand legal protection under the law...we as a society must establish legal standards for life, inside the womb ..and protect those viable lives. That would cut-out much of the horror in the abortion industry and save many lives.

That was a living person at that age ..no reasonable person should be able to reject that she did not deserve legal protection under the law.
She fought hard for her life and her chances for survival were evenly divided (50/50) even though better actually because she was a female. Though I have heard stories of others surviving very premature births without the help of modern technology, I doubt my daughter would have survived without it, and they don't try to save them much younger/less developed than that. She is now thirty years old :)

That baby was a living human being..in and outside the womb at that stage of development ..even if she needed assistance ..she was a living person. All babies that age are living persons, that deserve the protection of the law.

This is the best way to stop much of this abortion in my view... establish a legal standard of life for these unborn babies ..that NO ONE has the right to take away except in the most extreme cases of risk for the mother. Even that should require a legal standard of proof and be judged according to the law.

Is it possible those who don't want children yet still engage in unprotected sex might just possibly take even one iota of preventative measures to prevent unwanted pregnancies now that abortion might not be such an easy convenience?

Yes, because they lack a sense of morality, value for themselves and others. Self dignity and respect is a misnomer for some.

I wish more folks would think outside of the box like that.. Im glad u said it because everytime I say that ppl call me crazy, stupid or delusional lol!
Oh you are definitely not crazy or any of those other things. I believe life begins at conception and believe if a woman does not want a baby she has two options, one being birth control as in abstinence, the pill, or condoms and the second is if she does end up pregnant to give the baby up for adoption. However, there are women that don't believe the way I do and choose to end the child's life which I believe is one of the most selfish decisions anyone could make. I firmly believe if the woman has to go to the different avenues to understand how valuable a human life is like in the ways I mentioned, feel the baby kick, hear their heartbeat my only hope is that they would change their mind and we would have less aborted babies.

As I mentioned if we outlaw abortions women will go and have back alley abortions which are not only dangerous, but deadly. If the woman survives the likelihood of her being able to have children down the road is a lot more less likely. Yes, these women may make the decision to end a pregnancy, but should they forever be punished to not having children? My answer is no! We have a God who forgives and redeems us if we call on him and deserves to be blessed because we all fall short of the glory of God. We also need to remember that no other sin is worse than the other, but because we have a father who was willing to sacrifice his son so that we may have eternal life because he loves us :)

amen. I think people sometimes underestimate woman. If they really despise the baby, they WILL get rid of it even if it costs their own life. sad enough.
When men start talking about abortion it tends to make me cringe. They dont deal with any of the big mess. They cannot even in the slightest imagne what its like to be a woman in any way. Plus it always takes two to tango. Its not like its all about the woman. A woman cannot impregnate herself.
Wanna bet that if the birth controll would be less expensive than the abortion, the rate would go waaaay down? Plus theres sure as heck needs to be much stricter regulations there.
I remember in Religion class we were talking about our abortion laws here in germany and we had to make a trip. and they had a whole room full of dead babies in all stages. I can tell you, everyone who was joking around about abortion ended up crying and having nervous breakdowns.

Murder should never be legal. If a woman seeks alternative measures to abort their infant then they except the risks and reap what they sow. We shouldn't cater to this at all. People do need to be educated and many Americans need a education on American history, economy, criminal justice, psychology, American literature, the BIBLE, and yes people need sex education at an age when most kids start. When I was in school sex education was an 9th grade class we had to take. But the problem was kids had already been having sex since elementary school. But by no means should abortion be legal. Parents also got to step up more and be in there child's business. Try to know where their child is and what they are doing. A child needs to hear there parents opinions on sex before there classmates and the world tells them differently. Parents with kids and Social media should be very suspicious and have the passwords. Kids need protection that many parents don't care to give. But as we all know kids still will make there own choices but we have to do all we can while they are young. A child's life as an unborn baby should be celebrated and not a feeling of regret. Yes it's scary not knowing the unknown but that child will be the greatest glimpse of Jesus we can ever see. A child can teach us love like no other than Jesus himself. A child can teach us to look at the world as God intended us to see his beautiful master piece. Kids are a glimpse of what we had in the garden. Pure, loving, and full relying on their parent. As they grow older and just as the fall of Adam and eve children grow in knowledge of wrong and right and begin to make choices. They begin to rebel in many ways to prove they know more or like to show the parent they no longer need help.

Look it's this simple ..at some point these babies are living human beings that have rights to live..if a woman. Wants to kill a baby she goes to jail..now some still do, that don't mean we legalise it. As far as woman getting upset because men talk about abortion and what is right and wrong? Too bad ..get over it..being a woman don't give you the right to kill babies..even your own.

If a woman let's a baby grow and form in her womb..then she is responsible to protect that life just like we demand a mother cares for her children outside the womb.

Even if abortion is made illegal, we're still a society that treats the symptoms.

As far as I remember I had to pay all expenses for my son's health care when mom pregnant.even tho we was not married..that was the law.

And it's not about who's fault..it's about the fact that at some point we have to admit a baby is a baby inside or outside the womb..it still deserves legal protection.

I checked, the BC pill cost 21 dollars a month full price, no insurance. If you can't afford that, you should have your knees bolted together.

Haha! Reading that had me literally choking on my lunch.

Most medical insurance will cover this as well, I know mine does 100%
