Ha think English is hard, you should have a try at Yorkshire.

Allus - always
Cack handed - left handed or clumsy
Chuffed - pleased or excited
Chuffed to bits - very pleased or excited
Daft as a brush - term of endearment meaning stupid but said with effection
Faffing around - messing about
Flower/love/dear/petal - all terms of endearment or friendliness.
Gaffer - the boss
Gormless - stupid but more in a daft sense than an intellectual sense
Leg it - to run away as fast as you can
Ta - thanks

From grammar? That is nowhere in the council of God.
If someone hands you a sloppy or carelessly completed application, it is a good bet that is how they handle most things in their life.

I really enjoyed York when we were there... spent 2 days, and could have done more.. but we were on our way to Edinburgh, and St Andrews...

But then, most Americans probably don't use that good grammar neither.

Commonly encountered: "oh your country has its own money? I thought you used American money over there." Yes, we do have our own currency. I can't use yours out shopping unless I'm doing to a currency exchange before I fly across the pond.

My Chinese friend often says valentine instead of volunteer如果你想的话,你可以在情人节志愿
Translation : You can volunteer on Valentines if you want to lol :D

I honestly do get a kick out of how so many people think it is ALWAYS: "Joe and I."
