Not meaning to ruffle any feathers with this thread, just trying to understand.

I have noticed that Americans quite often tie up Bible prophecy with the USA and I wonder why it is assumed that God will work with and through the USA. I understand that the US has strong Christian beginnings but these days isn't it more around 50% Christian population? Isn't S Korea more densely populated with Christians? Why would prophecy necessarily be aligned with the US?

Does anyone have any insights on this?

I imagine people in every country think Bible prophecy is about their country. It’s just that there are a lot of people in the USA, so a lot of people think prophecy is about the USA.

On the other hand, I haven’t heard a lot of talk about this.

The USA will probably only exist for less than a mere 300 years, in total. I doubt seriously any prophecy is about this country.

I see a lot of Americans discuss it on facebook - not so often here. I've never heard Bible prophecy linked to the UK by Brits or any other Europeans - most of the latter being Roman Catholic anyway - this doesn't seem to be something they discuss.

The USA is also one of the few places hung-up on there having to be a "Rapture."

Many have been given visions by the Lord about the fall of America. We'll just have to keep watch & see if it comes to pass.

Rev 18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
Rev 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Rev 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Rev 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
Rev 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

The Bible says that when Babylon fell many years ago at the time of Daniel, that she will never have physical dominion again, but her ways are still on earth, which Babylon represents the kingdom of man,and the beast kingdom is the kingdom of man in it's entirety with no input from God,for they recognize no personal God.

They did trade with the world, which the world trade center is in New York, along with United Nations headquarters, and she lived deliciously, and in pleasure, and her sins have reached unto heaven, which there is not a nation like America that enjoys the finest that life can offer in the worldly sense, with jobs aplenty,in many different areas, with the attitude anything goes multiculturism, that allows all religions to be practiced there, even satanism, and the occult.

Rev 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
Rev 18:9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
Rev 18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
Rev 18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more.

The other nations stand off for the fear of her torment, which although the beast kingdom is the world together, there is a certain nation that is responsible for the world going in that direction, which on the back of the dollar bill, out of many one,and announcing the conception of a new order of the ages, and what other nation fits this description.

Dan 2:42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
Dan 2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

The Bible says the Roman Empire has the dominion until God puts them down, and the saints take over the kingdoms of the world, which would include America,Canada, and Australia, and any nation overtaken by Europe.

They shall mingle themselves with the seed of men, which is a mixing of all races, and ethnic groups,a concept, and operation,of America unlike any other nation, that will spread out to a world view,in the ten toes, horns, kingdom, which is the world split in to ten sections, with a leader in each section.

The iron is the Roman Empire, and the clay, the rest of the world, which the nations will come together and try to obtain peace on earth, but they not cleave to each other as iron is not mixed with clay, which what I get from that is the self exaltation and arrogance of the way the world operates.

Which while they do come together to try to obtain peace, they are not actually promoting the Roman Empire, for they would actually want the power, but they are thinking about the survival of the world, for the prosperity of their nation, and people, for they believe that they must incorporate the help of the world, for the survival of the world, and their nation and people, but they would actually want the power themselves, but the Roman Empire has the best solution to them, and the power,so they go along with them.

I do not look at America as a Christian nation, for they are so controversial to what Christianity is about for the most part, but a nation that allows all religions to be practiced there, which I look at America as an occult nation in their foundation, that liked some Christian principles, but became worse in those principles, although a lot of people had the right view of the Bible, but I do not believe that the founding fathers did.

I think a lot of it is many "modern day prophets" seem to all come from the US. Not saying other countries don't have them but the states seem to have more than our fair share. Many off branches of Christianity were also founded by Americans. So I think many feel prophecy has to do with the US. When in reality it's a perversion of scripture.

The US also tends to be a lot more fanatical, far more willing to embrace bizarre cults or conspiracies and they typically care a lot more about what is happening in their own country than around the world. I mean we were the country that produced Mormonism after all, the average American will believe about anything if they are told it enough times as a child.

Zec 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

Zec 12:2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
Zec 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Joe 3:1 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
Joe 3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

All Gentile nations are in prophesy,as they come together to try to solve their problems, which is when they say Peace and safety.

But the Bible says a certain nation is responsible for the world going in the direction of the beast kingdom, which can only fit America.

I don't think we are the only nation responsible for the world going in the direction of the beast, and I think the election of Donald Trump is a step in the right direction.

The majority of them involved Obama as the fall of america happened. Obama is still currently in power so you can't judge whether or not it wont come to pass.

There are some who believe in British Israelism which claims that the British American and Canadian populations are descended from the ten tribes of Israel. America is not named in the bible but if you take Babylon to symbo;lise the
world power for the last days the USA is the prime candidate. Its geographical and economic situation fits and its relationship with Israel is unique among the worlds nations. Israels survival is linked with its dependence on the USA
