I've been trying to catch up on all the posts here, but this one sort of stuck out to me...

I became number and number and eventually I got sick of following a list of rules for my life. I treat others as I would like to be treated.

It sounds as if you have never developed a "relationship" with Jesus.... because, believe me, there are not a bunch of "rules" to try to follow....

What Jesus gave us were concepts... guidelines, if you will, on how to live a happy, fulfilled life, here on earth.... which is the training ground, or preparation for our eternal life..

The only TWO commands he gave us was to love God with all our heart and mind, and to love our neighbor as much as we love ourselves. If we truly live those two commands, we'll do what God wants us to do, because we love Him, and we won't have problems with others, because we love them like we love ourselves...

We do what Jesus/God teaches us, because we LOVE Him... not because we have to "follow rules"....

That's according to your beliefs, so fine. But just the separation of church from state, I'll be over here treating people like I'd like to be treated. Isn't that what morality is in the end the day? Well, it's the only non biblical explanation, and since the bible can't be proven, the bibles definition of morality is just for Christians. I love people, I'm leader in a cultural exceptance group. I'm not a hater and freedom of religion means so much to me. People live happily gay, and your bible condemns it, but they don't have to be Christian. Humans are lying dirty nasty creatures, true but the humanity the, the deep understanding is what's beautiful. All men know deep within there is a higher power, I don't believe yours is that power though. I believe there isn't a book about the higher being.

You can believe what you want but when we die I would of rather lived showing the love of Christ and find out there is no heaven than die and find out there is a God and I failed to believe him and his word and then spend eternity in hell.

Actually, at the root of lesbianism, is a lack of connection with mom. Just like the root of homosexual males is lack of fatherhood connection.

We have marriage also to procreate and fill God's heaven. Homosexuality produces nothing eternal. Souls are eternal. People matter to God.

The truth is, if it wasn't causing you inner turmoil, you wouldn't be seeking affirmation from God or His people.

Please start reading in Matthew, read thru the end of the NT, then start over and read and ask God to reveal Himself and the6truth to you. You are commanded by Jesus( who is God) to follow Him. Not anyone else. He will reveal this to you. Don't judge Christianity on certain people who claim Christian. Why, because if their lives don't line up with God's word, then they're not Christians either.

I saw that you doubt the validity of God's Word bc it condemns your lifestyle. Well, that would not be a good way to judge truth, bc as Jesus said in John3, they don't come to the Light, because they love their sin. Don't worry God is able to keep His book straight, the efforts of many to pervert the message has proven to be a futile and failed effort.

I pray that you open your heart to the truth. God loves you and wants you to turn to Him and be saved.

She supports me, but she's not particularly happy. I don't make it her problem. I rarely bring it up. She has plenty of gay family. Doesnt thrill her but she also doesn't think she did bad raising me. And she didn't, I'm a genius. Okay that was prideful, but I do well.
