We truly cannot look down on God from above Him and say "God is good and I think this is good so God has to do it".

God looks down on us. God Knows what is good. Everything He does is good. Whether we think so or not.

You can try to say God doesn't want this and God doesn't want that but we don't always know His Perfect Will.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

John 6:63
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

1 Corinthians 15:54-57
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
right we can ask for Him to do what He has said He would do. God never changes! so, why don't all these scripture aplly? its not that God dosen't heal its that we no longer believe He does, and there is NO scripture for that

James 5:14-15: "Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well.."

Isaiah 53:5:
"He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed."

Mark 11:24: "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

Matt 9:35: "Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness."

Luke 6:19: "And the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all."

Mark 5:34: "He said to her, Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."

Exodus 23:25-26: “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days."

Deut 7:15: "And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known..."

Deut 30:20: "That you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days...”

Joshua 21:45: "Not a word failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass."

Psa 103: 1-5: Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s."

Psa 107: 19-20: "Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses. 20 He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions."

Psa 118: 17: "I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the LORD."

Prov 4:20-23: "My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.

Isaiah 57: 19:
" Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near,” Says the LORD, “And I will heal him.”

Isaiah 58:8: "Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard."

Mal 4:2: "But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves."

Matt 8:13: "Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour."

Matt 8:16-17: "When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.

Mark 11:22-24: "So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."

Mark 5:34: "And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.

John 14:13-14: "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it."

John 15:7: "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you."

John 16:23-24: “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full."

John 16:26-27: "In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God."

Rom 4:17: "As it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations” in the presence of Him whom he believed God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;"

where does it say in scripture that God send sickness....
God certainly allows sickness to come upon us. But why would he do that? Because in some cases it brings us closer to him. Sickness and disease are in Gods hand and he uses it for his purposes. SO yes God ordains and allows sickness to take place for his Glory.

My biggest hatred is the prosperity gospel!!! The same gospel that WoF movement advocate for. It is a distortion of the true gospel and seeks to accommodate and attract people to it through other means. People must stand against this heresy creeping into churches all over the world. And the leaders are a bunch of clowns.
prosperity gospel =/= WoF

they are two different things, PG is the distortion fo the WoF and is wrong yes. but that is not what we believe, we believe God will provide what He has said He would, not riches, but necessity

and once we see and turn to Him and call His name, He will HEAL what He has allowed to come on us!

allowing and sending are two different things Roger...
Yes but consistency would have it that if your not healed its because of lack of faith. So God wants to heal you but your stopping him??? haha thats funny.. so i guess that makes you sovereign and not God.

What you dont register is that God is NOT OBLIGATED TO HEAL. He doesnt have to heal if he doesnt want to it. God doesnt owe you ANYTHING. and simply believing you have a right to it is foolish.

no that makes the person foolish for not truly believing what God has said, if you don't believe God saves then you are not save. that doesn't make God not sovereign. if that were the case then because of the nearly 5 billion unsaved that God is not sovereign. He will not do it cause you don't believe in it. and He is not obligated to heal, BUT HE WANTS TO HEAL ALL THATS CLEAR IN THE WORD. and speaking of consistency in the Word we see a lot of ALL were healed, i'll take what the word says over your opinion.

So the WoF has clearly morphed into something that is more acceptable to those who are infant in the faith. Maybe it's proponents realize the waves of wounded humanity in it's wake and had to adapt to stay alive? See, right now you're in the phase where this doctrine makes intellectual sense. You have not entered the phase where it's return on investment is the wholesale slaughter of faith and lives due to the pseudo twisting of what faith is. I'll pray you don't have to experience that.

no i go to a WoF church, Rhema. there is just a lot of people who took what WoF taught out of context and started PG, and it dragged us down with it.
You need to go back and look at the origins and results of the WoF. Do that first.

Rubbish!!! So no doubt there are Christians who have all types of sicknesses and diseases today, and what you are saying is, is that they are foolish because they truly dont believe. Really? How do you know that they dont truly believe? Do you know the heart? and plus God has saved people who have always lived with terminal illness and sickness and disease theyre whole life. God saves you from HELL!!! Thats the point. Getting cancer would be way prefferable than Hell. So when you say "if you dont believe God saves you then you are not saved" why dont you ask yourself the question SAVE YOU FROM WHAT??? and what you mean he will not do it? Again how do you know that?? and also whats stopping God from doing it is lack of faith... gimme a break. God can heal someone who has no faith at all if he wants.. In fact take Jesus healing Malcus ear when Peter cut it off. Did he have faith... ?

trust me, our teacher verbally kick us in the teeth telling us what faith is not lol here at Rhema at least, they are teaching us not only true WoF but how to correct those living the PG... and ive had my licks with it. people trying to "cast the demon out" of a person having a GM seizure, and trying to lay hands and raise a man from the dead in full cardiac arrest while trying to preform CPR. i know this is carnal but i want to "lay hands on them repeatedly" (aka punch those people in the face)

Agreed. Paul says in Galatians that he had a bodily affliction and the Galatian Christians tended to his needs, probably taking care of him until he recuperated. Galatians was written early in Paul's evangelism to the Gentiles. He was speaking of an event which occurred even earlier.

I am sure that Paul was endeared to the Galatians by their acts of kindness in tending to his bodily needs. I know from experiencing long term incapacitation requiring bodily assistance for weeks, that I feel a close bond to those who tended to me.

I think the affliction Paul experienced was meant by God to display the love of the Galatians to him, and thus to endear him to Gentiles deeper than before...similar to the Good Samaritan parable.

God is concerned about forming us into the image of Christ, and part of that involves suffering like Christ suffered. Suffering is the pathway to exaltation. Christ learned obedience through the things he suffered, as Hebrews said. God is the good Father who knows what his children need, and part of that is suffering.

Health, wealth and prosperity teachers are simply setting people up for disillusionment if they are taught that their life is going to be one suffering-free existence. And, if they believe their own teaching, they are displaying remarkable ignorance of Christian history. What about the many martyrs who were fed to lions while pagans observed and even cheered? According to Revelation, these martyrs will receive a great reward.

They must live on a different planet than me, perhaps one where the sky isn't blue..

Unfortunately, most WoF'rs have to learn this the hard way. Fortunately, they can avoid it by listening to others who survived it.

if you don't believe jesus saves, you are not forgiven. if you don't believe in healing today, you won't be healed(atleast on the supernatural side, modern medicine will still do its part.) and Malcus was healed in the corporate faith, not by his personal faith, same with the man at the Pool of Bethesda.

i agree with you here, there have been a few that have left school because its not PG enough for them
