NZ & 148 other nations voted to divide Jerusalem and to demand a Palestinian state and Israel to withdraw from the Golan Heights immediatley - Australia Abstained - USA & Canada voted against the resolution but it was past 149 to 6 and comes into effect immediatley ..so now Israel according to the UN has no jurisdiction over Jerusalem and the resolution demands Israel withdraw administritive authority immediatley from Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Golan Heights. GOD HAVE MERCY ON OUR FOOLISH NATION... watch this space.

In 1916-1918 New Zealand gave the lives of many of her sons to set Jerusalem free from 400 years of Turkish rule - In 2016 with the lifting of a hand New Zealand trampled on the graves of her Sons to vote to divide Jerusalem
God will have His way and my voice will be recorded as standing with The God of Abraham Isaac & Jacob.

Too bad for the United Nations, they are not a government and have no authority to squat in Israel, or establish any states.

I am sure Netanyahu is shaking in his boots today, as he awaits for the arrival of UN troops to enforce the vote.
Naw, he is laughing at those UN fools..

This is big. Almost feels like we're in a place where "peace and safety" is in the air...

i was just commenting on a military aspect. if the u.s. and can said they backed Israel and would show a use of force to protect them, militarily, the UN let alone the world couldn't do a thing against that coalition...lol

My point is that Israel does not need the military help of the US or Canada.
No group of UN troops is a match for the IDF.

How I understand it, Obama would need to veto (or vote against) it before his term is up to stop the initiative to divide Jerusalem. What'd you think he'll do, or not do?

that is a real truth, the IDF is one force not to be messed with. but thats what i was mentioning really before, they wouldn't have a chance with america, without... its definitely a no go.

Re: At a vote in The UN yesterday NZ & 148 other nations voted to divide Jerusalem

1. Canada has no power in the world. No idea why do you speak about it. The same is true about New Zealand or Australia.

2. I was looking for some sources, I found two resolutions, but none was accepted "yesterday" so I would appreciate the link to the right resolution OP is talking about. Not any secondary pro-Israel source, but a UN webpage.

The Syrian Golan (8 November):
United Nations Official Document

Jerusalem (18 November)
United Nations Official Document

"Demands once more that Israel withdraw from all the occupied Syrian Golan to the line of 4 June 1967 in implementation of the relevant Security Council resolutions."
- yeah, the same thing over and over, UN demands, Israel ignores, it goes for decades so nothing was changed "yesterday"

"Reiterates its determination that any actions taken by Israel, the occupying Power, to impose its laws, jurisdiction and administration on the Holy City of Jerusalem are illegal..."
- again, nothing "new"

Summary:
Nothing as hot as is in the OP.
So either OP is talking about some other resolution (id of resolution, please) or it is full of useless hysteria as if some kind of doom should be cast upon the USA, not to say the whole world because of what is known for decades.
