the "time" factor and the physical factor are tied together............the "time" factor involves many issues.......class room time, study time, assigned projects time, meal time, down time, sleep time, practice time, workout time, film study time, medical issues time, and on, and on, and on............
If you have been around this level of Sports your entire life, then you should know all of this. These guys are not machines, or robots.............some of them quite often suffer emotional stress/mental stress issues from the various demands placed on them.
Sure, 8 Team Playoffs would make a TON MORE MONEY for the Networks, the Conferences, the Universities, and the Coaches, BUT it's the Players who pay the price.
You are entitled to your opinion, and I am entitled to strongly disagree in favor of the health and safety of College Athletes. Any person/Administrator/Coach, whoever that believes an 8 Team Playoff Format will not add to the stress (both physical and mental) that College players experience does not deserve to be involved in the Sport, or any Sport for that matter..........in my opinion.
Apparently you and your family/whoever are certainly in need of a Sports lesson, and a reality check!
Dude...............It also appears, aw, never mind, what would you know about respecting one's elders and manners.....
If you think that I mentioned other sports to say that they demand the same physically, then I suggest you go back and read properly. My entire mention of other sports was directly related to the time issue, as I said lol, which was in response to you bringing up time for academics, which is why I listed the days off between games. I don't know how I could have made that any clearer lol.
Like I said, the other college football divisions, including the other Division I have way more than 8 playoff teams. Even if that means dropping a non-conference game, it can certainly be worked into the schedule. And I've been around sports my entire life, both playing and coaching, and have had relatives who actually did play college football, so no, I don't need a sports lesson dude.
